With one full year of production and a year and a half of deliveries completed, 2022 ended in a different place for the Bronco community than the year prior. Many more people received their vehicles, which meant great modifications, meetups, and trips together across the Nation.
Additionally, Ford introduced exciting new models and packages for the Built Wild brand. Still, that’s not to say there weren’t hiccups –– and people still waiting on orders, things we hope to see less of in 2023.
Let’s look back at the key stories of 2022 and look forward to what we’ll see and do in the coming months.

Built for desert running and boulder crawling, the all-new 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor gives off-roaders next-level performance.
Winter Driving in the New 2021 Ford Bronco The Bronco Nation took a road trip to a winter test facility used for vehicle development. With various types of winter driving conditions and where one is driving, one might ask, “How do I best drive in this and what G.O.A.T. mode should I be in?” We cover the answers.
Broncos Sweep Top Three in King of the Hammers 4600 Stock Class King of the Hammers 2022 brought some amazing moments for Bronco. The community had great days together at Bronco Basecamp, Hammertown was flooded with all-new Broncos, and the 4600 Broncos were driven to a 1-2-3 win.
2022 Ford Bronco Everglades: Exclusive and Extremely Ready The next of the new models introduced was the Everglades, an SUV born to breathe when the air gets thick and designed to press on when the trail turns others around.
Ford: Order Banks Pausing, PPF Removal, ‘Ice Mountain,’ FordPass Performance App, and More Ford highlighted a variety of solutions and updates pertaining to Bronco order holders. Key points included Ford turning off the order banks to prioritize the completion of orders already in and communication about an app that is still yet to come.
Bronco Sport Owners Can Now Take On Off-Roadeo Moab Bronco owners and order holders have loved attending Off-Roadeo Moab. In February, Ford announced Bronco Sport owners can begin experiencing the adventure in this location too. Recent news expanded Off-Roadeo for the Sport even further.
Off-Roading in the 2022 Bronco Raptor - Durability Testing Bronco Nation has covered Ford’s durability testing for the Sport, Bronco, and Bronco R –– now, it’s time to share footage of the Bronco Raptor being proven on the trails. We had exclusive access to the 2022 Bronco Raptor’s durability testing in Johnson Valley, California.
MY22 Mid-Year Bronco Pricing: What’s Changing, Who Has Price Protection, and More Major mid-year updates to Build & Price included the addition of the Bronco Everglades and Raptor series, as well as the optional HOSS 3.0 system for Wildtrak. With the B&P update, Ford also listed new pricing for the Bronco, to cover market realities.

Hot News: Ford Returns Removed Feature that Left Bronco Owners Cold Ford confirmed that the digital temperature display, available on some trims and packages, would be returning to the HVAC knobs for 2023 Broncos. The feature disappeared at the beginning of 2022.
Added Larger Tires? You Dropped in Power. Ford Has an Answer It’s fine to add larger tires, but you need to do work if you want your vehicle to drive the way it was intended. Otherwise, you will have losses in performance and power.
Report: Broncos with Standard Sound System Losing Subwoofer The standard sound system gained a speaker for 2023, bringing the number up from six to seven, and included a subwoofer. Now, commodity constraints have struck again, and the system will be losing the subwoofer.
