2023 Bronco – What to Know

What’s New

In this info drop, Ford highlights several points. Come back on September 19 when the order guide is released to read more about tops and colors by trim, constraints, late availability items, and Heritage packages. But for now:

  • Ford has brought up the number of speakers in the base sound system from six to seven.
  • HOSS 3.0 is standard on Wildtrak.
  • Azure Gray has been added and Cyber Orange removed. All Cyber Orange orders will be automatically converted to Shadow Black. Work with your dealer to change to a different color.

Allocations

Ford will be allocating at least one Bronco Raptor and one 2- or 4-door 23MY or 24MY Bronco Heritage Limited Edition to each dealer. Hear Bronco brand manager Matt Winter speak about the Heritage Limited Edition allocation in our latest livestream.

22 > 23 Bronco Order Conversion Process

Just like last year, because of the new features and trims for 2023 model year, everyone without a vehicle identification number (VIN) on September 21, 2023 will need to update/confirm their 23MY order. Orders are being converted from 22MY to 23MY within Ford’s ordering system but still require updates/confirmation to be eligible for scheduling. This process will be handled through your dealer.

CURRENT ORDER HOLDERS (Converted in Ford’s Ordering System)

  • Your dealer will start scheduling order consultations with all existing order holders to finalize/submit, based on reservation timestamp order.
  • Beginning September 21, dealers can start updating/confirming orders in Ford’s ordering system with customer consent.
  • You need to agree to pricing with your dealer at the time of order entry with a signed purchase agreement and any required deposit.
  • Update/confirm your order by November 21 or orders will be canceled and deposits refunded.

RESERVATION HOLDERS (Unconverted)

  • For 2023 model year, existing reservation holders who have not yet converted their order can use the Ford.com Online Ordering tool within their “My Vehicles” or “Reservations and Orders” page.
  • Dealers have been asked to reach out to customers to confirm order receipt and pricing.
  • Convert to an order by November 21 or reservations will be canceled and deposits refunded.

    1. Timestamps are prioritized on available parts/supplies. So if you ordered the lux package and no lux parts for the vehicle in 2021 then build goes to the next vehicle without lux package. Timestamp or order number is done and no buying to get in front of the line like some other models.

    2. I agree, this is total BS. My timestamp from 8/24/2020 still has not gotten me my rig. Anyone else waiting this long?

  1. Farley needs to resign and he needs to do it now
For the past 2 years he has made bronco ordering and transparency low to no priority. He’s a joke he need to get on stage with his brother Chris Farley and make people laugh not cry

    1. maybe ere are the numbers YTD to help
Builds to date even during no new orders are good
      Jan 22 12,938
      Feb 22 8,462
      Mar 22 14,953
      Apr 22 12,237
      May 22 11,124
      Jun 22 12,946
      Jul 22 3,398
      Aug 22 15,092

So that is 91k units built that is delivered to customers for the 2022 year. Since 190k orders at 12/31/21 + 2022 orders, it will probably take under 3 years to get caught up.

  2. No-one, including dealers, know how making even the smallest change in build will affect the price protection on an ordered vehicle. I’d like to add signature lighting to my BB but am afraid it will change the price of everything in the original order.

    1. as long as you stay with the same model and don’t change powertrains or change a color with an upcharge you can
can ad the SL to your Big Bend, are you an original reservation holder, or did you placed your order after the reservation process.
