Hell’s Revenge is one of those trails people know by name, even if you haven’t done a ton of off-roading yet. Since the 6th generation was announced, the Bronco world has watched the vehicle durability testing on it as well as multiple pros and ambassadors run parts of it –– in drive and in reverse.

Now it’s your turn. Bronco Nation’s Jon Melton (Nashville Early Bronco) takes you through a step-by-step of navigating this iconic trail, showing you that it can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be.

Getting the most out of your Bronco starts with knowing it. If you haven’t done an Off-Roadeo yet, we highly recommend you start there, even if you’re already an off-roader. Being familiar with the Bronco’s controls and handling will automatically make you more comfortable on the trail. Then, as you build experience in the vehicle, you’ll know when you’re ready to start trying harder trails, like Hell’s Revenge.

Hell’s Revenge in Moab, Utah is rated as a difficult trail, but there are bypasses to get around the more major stuff. Set aside at least 4-5 hours to run the 7.8 miles, and longer if the trail is busy or you’d like to stop to look at scenery and watch other vehicles.

When you head out, pack water, tools, and a recovery kit. To attempt the more difficult obstacles, your Bronco should be equipped with front and rear lockers, stabilizer bar disconnect, and 35” tires. Jon’s taking the Bronco Nation’s 4-door 2.7L automatic Badlands through the trail. This Bronco does not have the Sasquatch package, but we recently added a lift and 35s onto it. He runs the trail at 20 PSI.
