Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Finally got to run Boulder basin.... It is not the hardest challenge out there and we found you can make it on 35s if you don't worry about ripping your rear bumper off....LOL... Dude is a good driver and can really wheel... but sometimes there are limitations.

This is one of my favorite places in the world.

shale shelf 2.jpg
tight and drop.jpg

The trail can be pretty tight and there are some pretty good challenges along the way like the waterfall... with NO by-pass. The shale shelf has a few inches on either side with a 50 foot to 200 drop on the down side... It can be a little unnerving when the shale is shifting as you cross it.... It really is not that bad though.... But the pay off! the payoff is the Mine and then up further the lake....

That one is on my list for sure since it's not too far away! Thanks for the pics.....

This was my very first mod on the Bronco… mine was silver. Installing the lower mount was a bit of a challenge because the instructions didn’t include anything about removing the wiring harness and brain freeze didn’t make me think about stuffing the fender space with a towel so the nut wouldn’t fall into that space. Talk about being a noob… 🤷‍♂️ 😂😂😂

Gave it a bath and tried to get most of the dirt, mud, dust and sand out of the interior. Headed out in a few weeks to get it filthy again though so its cleanliness won't last long. It looks good from a distance but you get up close, it's pinstriped galore..

yeah enough people must have complained b/c they updated the video to include removing that, but it still says you need an 8mm wrench however there was no 8mm anything in my set.

Was a mistake clicking on an email, Amazon hooked me on a Prime Big Deal. Moab Bronco Off-Roadeo, Jamie's battery powered compressors were so impressive airing up at Super Cel West, thought we'd try one.

Jamie had Milwaukee's pump and batteries. We already have 2 other battery tool systems and aren't interested in a third, so with almost 40% off - We'll try this unit. Oh should mention, Nathan at Outdoor Auto has had one of these for couple years and really likes 'em.

Search Amazon: "Fanttik X9 Ultra Portable Tire Inflator for Pickup Truck, RV"

Cheers

I'm interested in your experience with the Fanttik X9. Especially how it compares to the Milwakee. I currently use a Dewalt but it's pretty slow.

Yeah, Fanttik X9's super easy to use.really like it's - set target PSI and walk away feature. On full charge, it'll take our 4 - 35" GY Territories from 20psi to 40 in almost 25min. After those 4 tire air ups, it's charge is down to a single bar.

Wait, 25 minutes? *ouch* I guess with that much time, and being able to walk away, you could go and have a beer or two while waiting.

LOL - Yeah, it's 'bout 10min longer than our 2-cylinder compressor, 4-tire hose setup. Moad's Off-Roadeo Jamie's solution is to use 2 battery pumps to cut time in half..

Yeah, my patience isn't that high. My Morrflate twin get's all four of my 35's from 18-39 in under 10 minutes using a 4 tire hose. It' not battery driven, but I'm good hooking it to the battery on my Bronco. https://morrflate.com/shop/air-sources/portable-compressors/morrflate-tensix-psi-pro-12v-compressor/

Right, we run the same setup, and I need 'bout 5 min to deploy/retrieve the hose system.

Yeah, that sounds about the same as it takes for me when I do it by myself. I'm lucky, however, in that my lovely wife helps me cut that time to deploy the 4-hose system. 😎
