What did you do to your Bronco today?

Got a warm spell this whole week. Highs in mid 80's and morning lows of 55 so decided to take the top off for one last hurrah before official winter comes to stay awhile. Also installed the stickerfab.com visor overlays to hide the ugly safety warning decals.

I drove past a side street in North Georgia today in my Hot Pepper Red Bronco and had to turn around for a photo... can you guess why?

This weekend I stopped by to pick up Pokey with his new top, he wasn’t quite ready but we ended up getting him a little sister. My driveway is now officially the PNW Badlands!

Spent 4 days in the north Nevada desert on the Bronco Off-road Adventure. Followed the Applegate Emigrant Trail through the Black Rock Desert. It was dry, it was wet, it was a great experience. And we all got very, very dirty.

Great to see everyone going out and getting after it!

Got the Wolfbox dashcam mirror they sent me for free slapped in this morning..

It comes with a rear camera that I want to add as a front trail camera but that was not done today as i need to find a suitable mounting area and mounting solution to get it mounted up..

I think I found a good spot and solution to mount the rear camera as a trail camera but I might not get to it until next week some time.

For now it's just the mirror/dashcam installed. Took a whopping 45 minutes..

That bar wouldn't do jack about a deer. A few mosquitos maybe but no deer.

Yeah, we see a lot of wildlife collisions here. Hitting even a smaller young or dow mule deer typically totals an unprotected vehicle. It's far better to have some protection above the bumper than not. Those are expensive components up there, and even if your Bronco isn't totaled, could take months to repair.

Drove it home from going over the mountains to Chumstick Mountain yesterday to hang out with a bunch of other Broncos. Lots of spirited driving through some pretty beautiful scenery. 24 of us on the run, two more met us at our final destination.

Now I am looking at a leveling kit or a lift kit.

This is an addictive toy that knows how to consume your savings...!!!!

Finally got to run Boulder basin.... It is not the hardest challenge out there and we found you can make it on 35s if you don't worry about ripping your rear bumper off....LOL... Dude is a good driver and can really wheel... but sometimes there are limitations.

This is one of my favorite places in the world.












The trail can be pretty tight and there are some pretty good challenges along the way like the waterfall... with NO by-pass. The shale shelf has a few inches on either side with a 50 foot to 200 drop on the down side... It can be a little unnerving when the shale is shifting as you cross it.... It really is not that bad though.... But the pay off! the payoff is the Mine and then up further the lake....

I am actually allowed to go to the mall now as well...
