Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Not "today" but recently. Let me get you caught up:

HT Back On.jpeg

Removed the Bestop and put the hardtop back on. It's been hanging in my shop for 18 months and swapping tops is a complete PITA. Totally requires two people and took about 3 hrs to do. Note to Bestop: those allen screws on the sides of the roll cage SUCK! Anyway, I do like the HT, should be a fun winter.

Added this little number to go with my FP tune. Thanks to Lethal Performance for the combo package.

J&S Catch Can.jpg
Put this on about 1500 miles ago. I check it every so often and, so far, it's been bone dry. Zero-point-zero residue inside the can. That makes me feel good that the back of my valves should be pretty clean after 16k miles.

I also had the honor of being the show vehicle for my buddy's product, SuperSprings International and their SumoSpring for the Bronco, at the Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede this Summer. That was a fun trip and the GSMBS is a good time...it's not quite as big as the GSMJI but it's getting there.

I have also installed some Rigid A-PLR lights but don't have pics of that at the moment. I'll update that later.

Cheers!

Yup, yup.. Also, if you enjoy coffee (Life Support Juice), look into an AeroPress if you don't already have one. 👍

I'm liking the Aeropress. Used it the last two mornings...good call.....

I drove past a side street in North Georgia today in my Hot Pepper Red Bronco and had to turn around for a photo... can you guess why?

Then when I got home, my personalized plate arrived in the mail today:

Spent 4 days in the north Nevada desert on the Bronco Off-road Adventure. Followed the Applegate Emigrant Trail through the Black Rock Desert. It was dry, it was wet, it was a great experience. And we all got very, very dirty.1000000509.jpg1000000510.jpg1000000514.jpg1000000518.jpg1000000527.jpg1000000541.jpg1000000551.jpg1000000565.jpg1000000569.jpg1000000604.jpg

Not Bronco related but I took a road trip with my son to pick up a 1970 Chevy Nova SS he bought. The road trip was not far and only about 4 1/2 hours each way from Lincoln, NE to about an hour south of the Salina, KS area.

The engine is a 509 BBC, tunnel ram, all roller motor... The engine and transmission are all brand new as are disc brakes all the way around.

It was built for drag racing but it is street legal..

This is sorta, kinda a barn find as the owners were 80'ish and he paid less for it than the engine alone would cost..

This thing is one sexy beast!

Zero dark thirty alarm at the plant. Rotten little rodents trying to move in and setting off motion sensors. Have a great day. Might as well light up the place and take a pic. LOL

Gave it a bath and tried to get most of the dirt, mud, dust and sand out of the interior. Headed out in a few weeks to get it filthy again though so its cleanliness won't last long. It looks good from a distance but you get up close, it's pinstriped galore..

You did a good job. I spent over 2 hrs knocking mud off, then 20 minutes at the car wash. I don't think I'll ever get it all. But it was worth it. And, like you, I'm gonna do it again. Have fun!

Yeah, we greatly value a good high pressure & warm water manual car wash. Since Aug 30-Sept 3rd's Super Cel West and 8 or 10 wash jobs, I'm still finding clumps of mud/dirt stuck to skid pads, wheel liners & inside bumpers..

Cheers
