It is FRIDAY! Happy Friday to all you turds and non-turds.
Reminds me of Bill Murray in Caddyshack (I think) when some finds a turd in the pool and he goes in and gets it and then takes a bite.
My son got to walk around downtown and Tingly Beach yesterday. His IG name is FamousDuckPhorograoher. He saw about 6 different ducks that he'd never seen before.

Good Friday Morning, Kids!
It’s Friday here on the left coast, and the gray and wet continue to dominate the weather… The mountain pass 35 miles away is expecting up to two feet of snow over the next 48 hours… we’ll see… The fun news is we will likely break a high temp record next week (mid to high 70’s)… again, we’ll see…

Day two of protein shakes purgatory this morning… I’m SOOOOOOOOO excited… Thank goodness coffee is essentially calorie free! Bring on the caffeine!

You begin to feel old when your kids enter their 40’s… I have six sons and all but one are now in their forties, and my eldest grandchild is 21… When did all that happen? Think I need a late-life crisis fix…. Maybe I’ll order a Stroppe just for fun, like someone else on here who will remain nameless… (thinking @JoergH or @TK1215)…

It definitely helped me get through this day, and if the coffee didn’t, this did….
You can tell that my son is not a Turd like me.
This was to one of the counselors at Armada High from a student….

From a Student:
This quote resonates deeply with me because the person who has had the most profound impact on my life is Joshua Bobek, the Band and Orchestra teacher at Armada High School. Mr. Bobek is the person who has always believed in me, even when I doubted myself. His unwavering support and encouragement have pushed me to not only improve as a musician but to strive every day to be a better person than I was the day before. His influence is a constant reminder of the power of belief and mentorship. Most of the time in life all you need is that push to then start shining and become the person you’re meant to be. For me Mr. Bobek has not only been that push but he has inspired me to continue my musical career by trying out for the Northern Michigan marching band and potentially joining the Northern Michigan orchestra. Without him I probably wouldn’t have felt supported and or motivated to even try because of them being a Division 1 school. He also has helped me through my mental health problems during my sophomore and junior years of high school to where he then gave me motivation to keep going and was a positive influence in my life. I truly admire Bobek’s caring and selfless attitude towards all of his students because he would truly do anything for any of his students in order for them to succeed. His selflessness is truly a trait I inspire to act on and build my teaching career/skills based on his because he has helped so many students and connects with students in such a positive way. He has truly inspired me to be the best person I can be and I hope to be half the person he is when I am older.
I will continue to showcase what he has taught me through my years to come in education by always putting my students first and continue to support them their entire way through college.
