It was a good day to install the rest of my body armor for sure, very windy, but a very nice warm day to get it done.
I started with the pinch weld covers which went on pretty easy like I said a couple of days ago, then on Saturday when I got home I jumped into it right away to get it all done.
I started with the Differential Plate Skid and finished with the Front Lower Control Arms.
All went on very easily and only took around 2 hours.
Here is the end result pictures posted down below.

Have a wonderful Sunday Everyone!!!

Man those things need some scratches.......

Good Taco Tuesday, Kids!
Breakfast is long gone and gearing up for a taco bar for lunch if anyone is close by. Coffee and or soda is also on the counter…

Looking at pictures from @Sven yesterday makes me really glad I live where rain is the major source of precipitation… y’all can have that snow, especially the heavy spring snow currently challenging the mountain regions! I piss and moan about the gray and the wet, but we don’t deal with hurricanes, tornados, and for the most part, floods… It’s a big part of what keeps us in the PNW.

Steve Austin 1.0 and 2.0 are going to get a little more PT, which will be nice as a refresher… I received a letter yesterday, dated March 10, saying I was approved for 12 sessions, from 1/22/25-3/12/25… so by the time I got the letter the therapy window had closed… sheeesh…. My PT guru managed to get me 6 sessions beginning tomorrow, as the insurance company would not extend the therapy window (though I was never able to use it…)… For a country with supposedly the best medical system in the world, there could sure be some improvements… Anyway, happy for the extra sessions, though I’m sure they‘re going to hurt… improving range of motion kind of sucks as you fight through it…

Sun is peeking out, so thinking some lunch and then reset the garage so that I can start on installing my rock slider steps…

Have a great day all! Hoping @Darrel ‘s son arrives without problems and the visit is GREAT!

Boo, Canada!

Entering in Champlain-Rouse crossing point, I was interrogated by the border official for 12-15 minutes, then had to go in to an office and present all my documents. Maybe they don't like USMC plates? He was using the Israeli interrogation technique (in which I've been trained), where you inquire about a few non-descript personal matters, move on to other subjects, then circle back and ask about those "non-descript personal matters) in a different manner or context to discover inconsistencies. Then you pry into those.
Two old men in a Bronco, aged 77 and 83, with camping gear. Yeah, right. I was afraid they'd toss the contents of my truck.

The AirBnB we stayed in was "contracted" at $300CA for two nights, but somehow morphed to $475US on my credit card.
Last year in Montreal I parked in a poorly marked loading zone at 9:00 PM, and came back to get a $60CA ticket--with a $61CA "service fee" !!

And they've just outlawed any firearm with a feed device, e.g. a magazine.

Lastly, Dunkin Donuts beats Tim Horton's hands-down.

Maybe the Canada you know is nicer than the one I encountered, but I don't plan on visiting Canada again, much as I'd love to do Newfoundland and Labrador.

Wind storm warnings until 7pm here. Never seen that before.
Keep good thoughts for my son. His plane is to land at 7:23. Maybe late. Can't imagine the head winds.
Not looking forward to the drive at all!

Oh, no offense taken!
Point is, people used to be familiar with the major Bible characters and stories--and Ahab & Jezebel truly are --but not anymore. So I explain. And I'll have to work a bit of history info into the script.

It's like you're fresh off the trails, and pull up to McD's and muddy and happy, and somebody says, "Oh, too bad somebody splashed dirt all over your car." Then you have to try to explain where you've been and why you're happy with, even proud of, all that mud, and the whole purpose of a Bronco truck is..."
Then they say, "Well, okay, if you say so, um...."

So we explain.

(If you're not as familiar with the Jesus narrative, start watching "The Chosen" (Amazon Prime). You'll understand lie you never have before.)

Gezebel? That's Tom Brady's wife, right?

I enjoyed the time that I visited Nova Scotia back in the 90's, to visit some girls that we hooked up with in Florida. If any part of Canada should be part of the USA, it should be Nova Scotia. Right off the coast of Maine. The locals even told us that.

Good Wednesday Morning, Kids!
A little windy this morning to go with the gray, but seems there will be little to no wet from the sky today…
I share the temps from West Yellowstone (@Sven) with my bride and she just shakes her head in disbelief that anyone would choose to live where there are six months of winter a year… lol

Admittedly a little jealous reading about those getting ready to head to Moab in a couple weeks… that should provide PLENTY of swing in temps from night to day… but, oh, so beautiful… and lots of fun!

Glad that Jeff and Lauri’s eldest arrived safely and the NM shenanigans can commence… Enjoy the time with family!

Get out there and make it an amazing day! Can’t remember if someone posted this here but too good not to share.

I saved a Moab 2025 patch for you just the same, mon ami. @OrangecrushBronco too. Heading to Austin, Texas for the Bronco Off-Roadeo this Friday. Wish I were driving there in my Bronco, though. 😉

Huge shout out to @fordvideoguy for making this possible. I won it in a raffle. I’m very grateful.
