We have some updates -- pulled straight from the FAQs. Article coming later, but ask questions now. I've got a fairly decent grasp on it by now.

Highlights:
  • Bronco Raptor customers can't switch dealers.
  • Pay attention to which group you fall into: Reserved/ordered by March 19, 2021, or post-March 19, 2021.
  • Adding HOSS 3.0 to Wildtrak won't trigger a series increase.

I was fortunate enough to receive the opportunity to order a Bronco Raptor, and I would like to change the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. Can I make that change?
Because this is a limited production vehicle, we are not allowing for dealer change on the Bronco Raptor.

How much will adding the HOSS 3.0 package change my pricing?
Adding the HOSS 3.0 package to an existing Wildtrak order will add $2,515 MSRP. It is a simple feature and does not trigger a change in series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system.

2022 MY Pricing
Why are there price increases for the 2022 MY?
Prices change year-to-year to reflect market realities across all vehicle lines. For reservation holders and order holders as of March 19, 2021, we will price protect the 2021 MY MSRP pricing for a similarly equipped 2022 or 2023 MY Bronco.

Who qualifies for the Bronco Price Protection Program?
If you placed an order or reservation prior to March 19, 2021, you qualify for price protection. If you are not part of this program, make sure your order in the system is accurate, as changing your series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system after March 7, 2022, may result in increased vehicle prices. See below for more detail.

What qualifies as a series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system change?
An example of a series change would be going from Badlands™ to Big Bend™. An equipment package refers to base, mid, high, or lux package. A door change would mean going from a four-door to two-door and vice versa. A 4x4 system change means changing the standard 4x4 system to or from the advanced 4x4 system.

Will the 2022 MY Bronco two- and four-door offer AXZD Plan pricing?
Bronco will offer AZD (A = Employee, Z = Ford Retiree, D = Dealer) Plan pricing for all series excluding Bronco Raptor. X-Plan (X = Friends & Family) will NOT be offered on any Bronco two- or four-door models for the 2022 MY.

2022 MY Pricing for Customers Who Placed a Reservation or an Order Prior to March 19, 2021
What does price protection mean?
Ford will honor 2021 MY MSRP pricing if you had a reservation or order as of March 19, 2021. Your dealer will be issued a certificate for a similarly equipped vehicle that covers the pricing difference from 2021 MY to 2022 MY for the selected series and door configuration you reserved or ordered as of October 1, 2021. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

In order for you to receive this price protection, your dealership will need to search for and apply the certificate at the time you take delivery of your Bronco. You will not receive an email with the discount certificate. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

What are the new 2022 MY MSRP price protection amounts for customers who placed an order prior to March 19, 2021?

Bronco two-doorBronco four-door
Base$2,300$1,500
Big Bend$1,900$1,500
Black Diamond™$2,475$2,075
Outer Banks™$1,900$1,500
Wildtrak$2,800$2,445
Badlands$2,975$2,575

Why is there no price protection for features and options listed?
Price increases for 2022 MY were limited to series and door type.

How does the Bronco Price Protection program work?
If you ordered or reserved a Bronco prior to March 19, 2021, you will qualify for the price protection amount of a similarly equipped vehicle, based on the selected series and door configuration you reserved or ordered on or before October 1, 2021. This pricing adjustment will take place at the time of delivery through your dealer. As a reminder, the final selling price is based on the buyer’s agreement with your selected dealer. In order for you to receive this price protection, your dealer will need to search for and apply the certificate at the time you take delivery of your Bronco. You will not receive an email with the discount certificate. Final transaction details, including price, are between you and the dealer.

Will changing my order after March 7, 2022, affect my price protection amount?
For customers with an order or reservation on or before March 19, 2021, you are able to apply your certificate to a different series for the 2022 and 2023 MYs. However, your certificate amount will reflect the series you ordered or reserved on or before October 1, 2021. Changing your series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system after March 7, 2022, will cause your order to update with new mid-year price levels. See your dealer for further details on changing your order after the March 7, 2022, cutoff. If your vehicle is not built in the 2022 MY, price protection will carry over to the 2023 MY. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

Does price protection apply to Bronco special editions?
No. The Bronco Price Protection Program only applies to customers and the series offerings on or before March 19, 2021. Price protection will not apply if switching to a Raptor or Everglades™.

2022 MY Pricing for Customers Who Placed a Reservation After March 19, 2021, or Placed an Order Without a Reservation After March 19, 2021
What does it mean if I placed a reservation after March 19, 2021, or placed an order without a reservation after March 19, 2021?
If you fall into either of these categories, it means that you do not qualify for the Bronco Price Protection Program. The cutoff for that program was placing an order or reservation on or before March 19, 2021.

I have placed an order, will this mid-year price increase affect my pricing?
If you do not change your order after March 7, 2022, and take delivery of your 2022 MY Bronco, your order qualifies for retail order price protection. This protects the MSRP of the vehicle at the time the 2022 order was received by Ford. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

I have an unconverted reservation that was placed after March 19, 2021. Will price increases affect me?
If you convert by March 7, 2022, your order will reflect the initial 2022 MY pricing. If you convert your reservation after March 7, 2022, your order will reflect the most current pricing. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

Will changing my order after March 7, 2022, affect my Bronco's price?
Changing your series, equipment package, the number of doors, or 4x4 system will cause your order to reflect new mid-year price levels. Make sure your order is configured properly prior to the March 7, 2022 cut-off. If your vehicle is not built in the 2022 MY, your new 2023 order will reflect 2023 MY price levels. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

It’s good you kept that. I have kept everything sent out and sent to me. Every email. Because even with it in hand to show them, they will try to say they have never seen it and that what you are holding in your hand doesn’t exist. It crazy that all the parts constraints and shortages and bad chips, along with every other vehicle and brands, that somehow it is our fault and we get punished for it.

I just got off the phone with my dealer, because I have not heard anything about my Badlands, 2.7, 4dr, hardtop, sasquatch I reserved in Aug, of 2020, and he told me that Ford increased the price on the vehicle again. This through me for a loop, because I thought that my order would have been protected from the price increase.
My story is that I reserved the Bronco in August of 2020.
I went to the dealership and put the order in the system in February of 2021. I went back to the dealership in October of 2021 to put in a new order for 2022 because I was not getting it in 2021. I changed the color from Cactus Gray to Cyber Orange and added key pad access. I had to pay extra this time because there was a new front bumper which was higher in price and the upcharge on the Cyber Orange color.
So when he told me that I was going to have to pay for the 2022 price increase, I told him he was mistaken, that my build should not be included in the price increase because of when I put the order in. And I knew this because I keep track of what is going on with the experiences people are having with the ordering and building process. But I could not convince him of what I knew. I was told you cannot believe what you see or hear on the internet, which I completely agree with, But I am hearing this from very reliable sources. Then I found this on the forum.
So I need to ask, am I wrong understanding where I fall as far as the increase in price, or is the dealership not understanding how to handle these orders, because he told me, I am not the only one who is getting taken advantage of by Ford Moter Company. As I was told, it is not the dealership who is making the rules.

The simple question did you order your initial order before March 21 cut-off for price protection??
Then yes you have it, BUT dealer systems will not show it as they (the dealer) have to do this inputting info themselves.

From the first post in this thread:
For reservation holders and order holders as of March 19, 2021, we will price protect the 2021 MY MSRP pricing for a similarly equipped 2022 or 2023 MY Bronco.

In order for you to receive this price protection, your dealership will need to search for and apply the certificate at the time you take delivery of your Bronco. You will not receive an email with the discount certificate. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

No, you are correct, and you sound completely educated in this -- if you had your order in by March 19, 2021 (which you did with your Feb order, of course), you are price protected. You will receive price protection according to what your order was on October 1, 2021. Articles fact-checked by contacts at Ford on the topic are here and then the one from this thread, here. Dealers received the communications supplying this info, so while it's a lot to keep up with, they should continue to try to do their best.

Agreed. I understand that newer models may have upgraded parts that may cost more to produce, but I set out 2 years ago to replace my vehicle with a new one. I needed a new vehicle. So I have been waiting patiently and putting money back into my current vehicle (as little as I can get away with) until I get my Bronco. I would at least like to get the Bronco at the order price. Who would have thunk it would be this difficult to buy a new car or any car for that fact.

Just a FYI for those that are scheduled and have not received a window sticker. It seems that all window stickers being made post 3/7/22 will show MY22.5 pricing regardless of when you reservation or order date was made.
Yes, I'm not surprised at that. The initial amount will be the MY22.5 price and then the dealer will get a "rebate" from Ford to make up for your price protection amount difference.

You may have the answer I've been looking for. I've only seen info about order prior to Oct '21 so far.
I have a 2022MY at 2022 price order that was placed Oct '21. No former reservation or order. No build date yet.
Another family member had a Nov '21 2022MY(also no prior rez) order and now has a build date of 4/7/22 and the window sticker looks to reflect the increased 2022.5MY base price. Should we expect the 2022MY price at closing or the 2022.5 with rebates. FYI both our dealer were resolute about selling at msrp at the time of ordering. @Laura

Yes, you will see the MY22.5 price on your final paperwork but the dealer should then take off the price protection amount. The dealership will get reimbursed by Ford.

Good afternoon, I reserved and ordered prior to March 19, 2021. My truck will be arriving in the next few weeks at the dealership. I spoke with my salesman and he verified that the smart vincent system had my $695 certificate for 21' model-year price protection. My VIN was pulled on March 10, 2022. My window sticker has the 22.5 model year price increase, it went from $60915 to $62315. The salesman said he did not know anything about the retail order price protection for orders received prior to March 7, 2022. I called Frod and the guy had no clue how the dealer is supposed to take care of the additional credit. Does someone know how this actually is supposed to work? I read on Bronco6G that Ford should issue another certificate in smart vincent for the 22.5 increase, but you end up getting the difference from Ford, i.e. it's not taken off the price of your truck. Thanks in advance.

Your dealer needs to call the rep to find out. I just took delivery with the increased price. I ended up paying for it and the dealer will reimburse me once they are reimbursed from Ford. Some dealers will take it off right there some won't and some will play dumb.

The new price protection does NOT show up as a certificate in smart vincent. I would direct your dealer to fully read, understand and call their Rep this page on Ford.

This is from Granger:
Dealer message:
2021 to 2022 (J1) pricing is loaded into Smart Vincent as a private offer amount paid directly to the customer (Program 38406).
Adjustment from mid-year pricing (J2 to J1) is generated automatically and paid to the dealer’s payment statement after the dealer records the sale in smart Vincent (system will produce a price protected adjustment amount once it verifies that the customer who bought the vehicle matches the customer who placed the order). You can expect that payment 30-45 days after the sale.

We have some updates -- pulled straight from the FAQs. Article coming later, but ask questions now. I've got a fairly decent grasp on it by now.

I made my reservation in July 2020, and finalized order in January 2021 for my Badlands Sasquatch 2-Door, which from the table above looks to be $2,975 in price protection, but my dealer says Ford is only giving m $975 back. How do I find out if this is correct amount?

Looks like your dealer isn't taking into account the latest MY22.5 price increase which you are also protected from.

I would direct your dealer to fully read, understand and call their Rep this page on Ford.

https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...hy are there price increases for the 2022 MY?

This is from Granger:
Dealer message:
2021 to 2022 (J1) pricing is loaded into Smart Vincent as a private offer amount paid directly to the customer (Program 38406).
Adjustment from mid-year pricing (J2 to J1) is generated automatically and paid to the dealer’s payment statement after the dealer records the sale in smart Vincent (system will produce a price protected adjustment amount once it verifies that the customer who bought the vehicle matches the customer who placed the order). You can expect that payment 30-45 days after the sale.
