Good Saturday Morning, Kids!
The sun is peeking out of the clouds after a pretty wet night… Connected with about 100 guys this morning for breakfast and some masculine fellowship… home by 10:30 and still a whole day ahead of me…

My step sliders are still sitting in the boxes in the garage… waiting a little more warmth before I venture out to spend the day tearing OB1 apart and installing the steps… every time i see a clip with someone using them I get closer to getting out there and getting it done… it always seems my list of projects gets a little bigger each day…

Hoping you‘ve been released from work-prison by now, @BroncOitis , and are up to you armpits in socket wrench’s and skid plates… And hoping anyone else working today gets off soon…

It was a good day to install the rest of my body armor for sure, very windy, but a very nice warm day to get it done.
I started with the pinch weld covers which went on pretty easy like I said a couple of days ago, then on Saturday when I got home I jumped into it right away to get it all done.
I started with the Differential Plate Skid and finished with the Front Lower Control Arms.
All went on very easily and only took around 2 hours.

Its fairly quiet here weather-wise today here in the PNW, but just turned on the Weather Channel to see what’s going on after reading @BroncOitis ‘s post… WOW… Mama Nature has been busy! Prayers for those lost and those affected. Need to check on my DiL‘s parents as they are in the coming twister path in SE Georgia…

Colombian roast is on for those who are still needing a pick-me-up, and will have some sourdough French toast with triple thick bacon on the side in a bit…

Thinking of those affected by weather, by health issues, and by the downsizing of companies and agencies… :(

We need some of that. Someone in my off road club posted a few weeks ago that our snow pack here barely made it onto the historic graphs, that's how little we have gotten this year. We have had weather this past week, but I've not seen or searched for updates. Snowpack was at 25% in December. The Sandia Ski slopes in Abq have been closed for most of the winter. And there were 2 fires I saw on Thursday. I think I heard one was a prescribed burn, which made no sense. We've had so much wind.

Glad fir your snow. Happy fishes this summer and hopefully no wildfires. With the firings of Park Rangers, I worry if hit shot fire crews were affected. These people go through losing everything to a fire and then if we get any rains, they can't rebuild until the flooding damage is cleaned up.
Indiana is looking like a good place to move to when I can finally retire.

Donna and I and a neighbor just got back from seeing “Becoming Led-Zeppelin” and it was really good and informative on the band.
I recommend seeing it if you were someone who liked Led-Zeppelin like we did and do.

Donna and I and a neighbor just got back from seeing “Becoming Led-Zeppelin” and it was really good and informative on the band.
I recommend seeing it if you were someone who liked Led-Zeppelin like we did and do.

I am the ultimate Led Zeppelin fan. But I am waiting for it to come on Netflix. I don't like going to theaters, or anywhere else that I can't carry, unless I have no choice.

In my screenplay (in progress), "Fire On the Mountain," the Phoenician princess Jezebel, having earlier married King Ahab of Israel, arrives in her new homeland. The first thing she does is ask to be taken to a mountain top and has an impromptu alter built, upon which she pours out a "drink offering" and burns frankincense to her "deity," Baal.

She definitely stir up the political and religious pot. Things don't end well for the pagan princess.

Woohoo.The snow stopped...but the wind is still not fun. While the first brew was in the making the Honda/liquid dinosaur combo got the 3 foot drift cut between the work truck and Bronco. I hate plowing this time of year at the plant with this heavy wet stuff. If your not careful you end up farming instead of moving snow. Fill the mud.....head to the plant and get ready for a delivery.

Good Irish Monday Morning, Kids!
St. Paddy’s Day was always fun when I worked in schools as it was the only day of the year when wallflowers and incredibly shy and introverted kids would approach ”non-green” teaching staff with the perfunctory “pinch”… and then run down the hallways squealing with delight… It’s the little things…

Coffee is on for those ready for a morning break, and corned beef will be in the crock pot shortly for and early dinner.

March Madness ensues this week and I must say I have very little interest in the men’s tourney, for the first time in many years… I will keep an eye on MSU so that I have something to talk to @Sven about on the women’s side…

Got a good reminder of the need to keep short accounts with people yesterday. Was mentioned at church that a member I have known for years had entered Hospice on Saturday, almost without a word to anyone... in fact, I had just enjoyed breakfast with him the day before and he not only didn’t look sickly, but gave no indication he was hurting… As painful as I’m sure it is sometimes to share when we or someone close is doing poorly, I appreciate those who do share and allow us to share the burden with them… It reminded me that we need each other, and we should never assume that “all is well” with someone… Reach out, and ask the question…
