Two New Bronco Trims to Own: The 2027 Bronco RTR and Bronco Filson

Tomorrow, on Tuesday, October 13, the 2027 Bronco order banks are slated to open. Two new trims, the Bronco RTR and Bronco Filson, will be available for you to order at dealerships once they do.

Here’s a reminder on what these lineup additions are all about, plus ideas on how to spec them, based on Bronco Nation staff opinion.

Key 2027 Bronco Trims

2027 Bronco RTR | Motorsports Engineering with Plenty Standard

This “Ready to Rock” Bronco was created in partnership with RTR Vehicles. If you follow pro drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy, you know this is a spirited trim, a high-energy Bronco perfect for the street or the desert sand.

The highlights include Raptor-esque off-road performance features as standard but at a lower price point. On this 4-door, 10-speed automatic Bronco, you get a unique 2.3L engine calibration with anti-lag technology, the Raptor 1,000-watt cooling fan, plus rock rails and RTR Hyper Lime accents across the signature grille.

Packages, like the Hyper Lime appearance, RTR Appearance Graphics, and Sasquatch, let you make it your own.

One package we at Bronco Nation wouldn’t skip adding on to this Bronco is the Sasquatch Package. With it, you’re bumped up to 35” tires and HOSS 3.0, Ford’s suspension system featuring Fox Internal Bypass Dampers. Whether you choose the refined standard edition or the special First Edition, highlights include off-road prowess combined with elevated features, including an application-specific 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, standard Sasquatch Package, digital rearview mirror, power running boards, and ventilated front seats situated in the quietest Bronco cabin yet.

Optional items for the Bronco Filson include the Bronco Filson First Edition Package’s coveted removable interior storage bags and full vehicle steel bash plates, two equipment group features Bronco Nation staff would check the boxes on for sure.
