Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Put my steps on

IMG_0753.jpeg

I put the same steps on months after I got my Green Diamond. Unfortunately the coating was coming off and they were rusting bad. But kudos to IAG. I reached out to them and sent pics, and within a matter of days I had replacement steps and a return label. I must admit, the finish on my new ones definitely feels better and has a more aggressive grit to it.

I hope the new steps hold up. It's not the first time I've heard about IAG products having compromised finishes. Maybe you just got a bad batch. I'm glad they stepped up and offered replacements. Crossing fingers for you. 😉
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I received my IAG full length steps damaged in shipping, twice. A couple of areas had the powder coating chip off. Worked out a satisfactory deal where I received a jumbo can of rustoleum truck bed spray liner. Coated both steps twice and I am glad to report that after more than two years, these are holding up fantastic.

My Boring B went on it's first longggg road trip to North Myrtle Beach. Handled well. I don't think I've ever seen so many B's since owning mine.

Installed ASFIR cross member skids

5/32 aluminum and it’s stout!! Easy install. Tip 1: dont do it while bronco is hot (right under headers). Tip 2: make sure washer is lined up on top and don’t drop the nut because it will now forever reside inside of the drivers side arm. 🤣🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

Enabled Starter interrupt via Perimeter Plus alarm. Didn’t realize it is an added feature beside the shock sensor.
Not sure how one turns the ignition on a keyless push button, but semantics.

Awesome! The only concern I’ve noticed was from those who regretted not adding the crossmember skid plates to their Broncos sooner than they did. 🤓

Aluminum? At least for my 24 WT, their website says, "Manufactured from high-quality, laser-cut 1/8" (3.17 mm) steel for superior strength and durability."

Is this just a model difference? Or is there an aluminum version?
