Slapped my brand spankin' new Bronco Nation 'Grille' Badge on the TigerMoth using VHB 3M tape..

This was a replacement they sent me for my original one that had faded to pure silver. Hopefully this one lasts a little longer...

Today? I'll be getting estimates for a new windshield..

Took a rock hit yesterday that caused a large ding and a 10" crack line down on the driver side.. SMH.. To make matter worse, my insurance uses comp for windshield replacement. My deductible is $500 so I probably won't bother with a claim.

Safelite quoted $375 for a windshield.. Cool, right? Nah.. They say they have to reprogram the windshield and that's another $495 charge for it.. Told em I don't need that and they said it's required. What, what? You have to charge me an additional $495 to do nothing? Yeah, hard PASS!

Ummm, I do not have any of that ADAS stuff in my Bronco so why does the windshield need to be programmed?

Meh, I wonder how many people Safelite scams with this mandatory, and seriously price inflated, programming fee...

The only ADAS sensor I have according to my VIN, is the front collision sensor. I would understand the need/want if I had lane keeping, adaptive cruise, etc but I don't. I am not paying an extra $495 to program for front collision sensor.. That would probably take them all of 10 minutes..

I found another shop that quoted me $450 for the windshield installed and I sign a wavier for them not programming the windshield.. SOLD! If I want them to program the windshield then they said it would be another $150 to do it.

The moral of this rant? Avoid Safelite at all costs and like they have the plague.. They want $495 to program and another shop wants $150 for the exact same programming..

When I called to cancel the Safelite appointment I had made, the lady told me that since I have a rear backup camera that makes programming mandatory under Federal Law... Wait, what? LOL! Scammers, plain and simple...

Never one to leave well enough alone, I removed the Mountains2Metal brackets holding my ditch lights and bolted them directly to the mirror arms using the existing accessory mounting points. It’s simpler and much cleaner looking. The driver’s side threads through my Mountains2Metal antenna mounting bracket. All wires tuck nicely into their respective cowl channels. 😍

Anyone want my old M2M brackets? 🤓

Never one to leave well enough alone, I removed the Mountains2Metal brackets holding my ditch lights and bolted them directly to the mirror arms using the existing accessory mounting points. Progress! I am getting way to old to be doing this stuff by myself in mid 90's temps..

All that's left, after I take about an hour break, is to run the pos and neg leads to the terminals.. I assume that is gonna be a PIA as well..

I think I am going to leave my Safari bar off, for now... The Zeon takes up more room then the RC did and with the Safari bar on, the entire front end looks kinda cluttered..

Cleaner will always do it for me. I guess you just have to ask how much good the safari bar will do if you hit a deer. Less is more in most cases, in my opinion. You don’t want to have too much hanging off the front end. Think “Squiddy” from the Matrix.

I installed my TACKFORM Device Rail, along with attachment arms and hardware to help keep my electronics within reach. Shout out to Nick and Erica Lullo and Andrew Gilleran @Tackform for helping me get everything I need (and more). 😉

I LOVE this company. Their merchandise is top-notch. I installed a magnetic phone mount on the driver's side, an expandable phone grip for the passenger, a Go-Pro mount centered on the dash, and a 2-way radio mic holder. Everything works beautifully and there's room for expansion if needed. Solid construction and impeccable finish.

Finally have my complete system up and going. I wish I could pivot my tablet horizontal but it would get in the way of my buttons.
I'm really liking my handheld GRMS holder which I had to cobble together from 3 different sources.

I'll sell my Rough Country 12K winch and the Ford Performance Winch mount to get a little of the cash back I spent on the Zeon 10S..

Did I need to swap winches? Nope, but that deal was just to good to pass on.. Mine came with a Ford Performance Hawse Fairlead as well.. I was not expecting that so it was a super cool bonus! I slapped it on instead of the Warn one..

Normally I like the "less is more" like Buckyeah... but aesthetically in this case I kind of like it on there. Seems to "frame" the winch making it look more substantial. So I am going to agree with Chief Ron on this one.

I’ve got a bull bar on my Bronco, as you know so I’m biased towards having one, but I enjoy playing Devil’s Advocate. 😎

Removed the thin factory fender emblems and installed the new metal ones. They are the exact same size and seem to be very good quality. They give a more premium look to the bronco and are what should have came from the factory IMO.
