What did you do to your Bronco today?

That was my complaint the mirror off is reflective but it is not a mirror, it is like using your cell phone turned off as a mirror. now that I am used to it it is OK it is like having really dark tint, which our suburban had so it's like that. but it vibrates a lot and my remote camera crapped out so I need to get a replacement for that. the camera kinda works but if I plug it in the whole thing glitches really bad and locks up.
I was hoping it was like our cheap nest thermostat and be a mirror when off and a screen when on.

I guess I am not understanding the issue you both are having.. Mine works perfectly fine as a rearview mirror.. It's slightly darker than stock but it works fine.

I must be misunderstanding the issue you both are having..

Lemme take a pic real quick.
The first one is the wolfbox screen you can barely see any reflection. The second pic I held my old mirror up so you are seeing basically the same thing. The wolfbox is much larger I can say.

yeah that is just a little darker mine is like night and day. the wolfbox looks like its at night and the regular mirror is in the day. but I took the picture at the same time.

Absolute weirdness.. I'll have to check and see if there is something in the settings I changed because mine is almost exactly same as stock, just a tad darker..

Have you gotten used to it at night? We do have side mirrors and alot of windows but it doesn't feel safe. The cell phone reflection is a good analogy but if the phone still had the new film unpeeled. It DOES vibrate alot despite half a dozen retigthenings to ensure it wasn't my doing. The rear camera has glitches and such when it's dark. Seems ok in the daylight but with less detail then my naked eye in the OEM rearview mirror. I hope you can zoom in on recordings to see actual detail as the stock photos imply. Can I get used to it sure. Do people get use to far worse things in life, sure. I guess it just doesn't sit well with me to spend money on and make due to get use to something when it isn't what it is represented to be. At night if there is a crazy oregon or Florida driver behind me or an emergency vehicle I would like to get out if the way before they're on my backside since there is no rear visibility at night.

Yep going to return, just using the forum to truly represent the product to others who may be considering this but want a functional mirror.

Again, weird.. I pretty much only use mine as a rearview mirror and the cameras are just there to record if something interesting happens either on road or while off road...

Mine functions as a rearview mirror almost exactly the same as stock, maybe it's slightly darker..

Did you buy it from the Amazon link I sent you in PM? If so, just return it. Apologies for recommending something that did not work out for you..

Wolfbox's response is absolute BS! If you have any issue returning, or getting a replacement, PM me or text me and I'll reach out to the Wolfbox contact that keeps sending their gear for free to see if they can help..

I got straight from wolfbox to save the $50. An Amazon return would have been less hassle though.

Is yours the V02? I don't know how recently but it was updated. I was originally told the cabin camera could be added later but am now told that with the V02 (same exact model) that is not possible. I am going to try returning and paying the difference for the TriPro (same but with 3 cameras) and see if the mirror was flawed. I will be taking the mirror out without touching anything else and testing it. If I have the same issue I will either return it all again and get the one Ford sells or I will leave my overhead sunglass holder down and create a mount for the OEM mirror for visibility if I feel inclined enough to keep the setup. It really is a bummer because I like the camera/recording with onboard playback abilities.

I have no clue.. I don't have the box anymore. Is there somewhere I can identify mine? Mine is the 900 Pro but I have no clue if it's a V02.

You can see how mine looks, and it's fine. But if mine looked like @Jakob1972 mirror does, there is no way I would have kept it..

I installed the external speaker for my Midland MXT275 radio on the roof MOLLE panel. It was fun running the cable from the speaker to the radio. I improvised by using a cat toy to guide the wire through the windshield frame, down the A-pillar, behind the grab handle and to the lower footwell. It worked like a charm. A few wire clips up top kept things nice and tidy.

I also installed my Tackform magnetic mic holder on the dash. 😎



I’ve got a new device rail on the way. Tackform really hooked me up at the recent Overland Expo PNW. Great products and great customer service!

My old Archetype Racing device rail is up for grabs. Anyone with a Badlands wanna buy it from me? I’ll even throw in a few 20mm and 1” balls. 🤓

I know.. And it's been on all summer.. My bikini top and rain gear cover was either lost or stolen in my move. I need to buy them again but the other issue now is that I do not have a garage to park in..

The garage in the photo has no room for the Bronco as there is a 1970 Nova SS that's in there.. Not a big deal as even w/o garage space, I could just slap the rain cover on for extended rain periods..

I need to get off my lazy duff and order a new Bikini from Dan and a new rain cover.. It'll be back off next spring for sure!!!
