Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Bummer that you have an issue. Not sure why yours has bad visibility at night. Lots of people have the G900 Pro and I don't think I've seen any complaints about that.

Maybe you got a defective one? The mirror will stay dim showing time and other info. Say 'Turn Off Screen' and it completely turns the mirrors dim light and clock off to where it acts as a normal mirror. Have you tried that?

I feel terrible since I recommended it to you..

No worries, it's not your fault. I hope for other's sake that mine is defective. Both voice commands to turn of camera and the manual power button bring up the rearview but practically no visibility during the day and zero at night beyond blurred headlights. I've been happy with their other products so far but the fact that they would put out something like this makes me seriously question using wolfbox again. Definitely not DOT compliant. For the record it's bad visibility in the daylight and no visibility at night other then an occasional blurred set of headlights.

I've not had any of these issues with mine. You might have gotten unlucky and got a bad unit..

So is it the rearview mirror visibility that's the issue or is it the cameras? If you download the video clip, or transfer it from the SD Card to a PC, does the video look clean or is it all blurry?

OR... Are you wanting to live view the camera on the mirror screen AND use it as a rearview mirror at the same time because that won't work..

Installed the Wolfbox G900 Pro dash/rear camera. WORST product I've ever installed on a vehicle. What a waste of time and energy. First the positives the camera works great and looks great. Interface is nice. However this product is ultimately unsafe. The rearview mirror that replaces the factory unit is useless as a mirror and at night there is zero visibility even on well lit roads. If you use your mirrors like your supposed to good luck.

Interesting.... I love mine.... But I do not use the "mirror"... I use the rear view camera as a mirror. When I am driving I go to the rear view... It works way better than my stock rear view mirror did. I may be in trouble if my camera dies on me I guess.... But then I put in my own camera on my truck about 16 years ago (could not see with the mirror most the time because of the shell with stuff in the back) and replaced the mirror with a monitor... Still works great.

3โ€ lift and level with a little high lite for the knobs

Thank you to everyone who posted about 37โ€ tires and spacers. Decided to keep OEM rims and color match the fenders and rim rail. Just added BFG T/A KO 3 37x12.50R17LT w/ 1.5โ€spacers. Rides great on the road, sorry it will never be off-road, itโ€™s a mall crawler!!

Trying too keep old school look with the white letters out. Thatโ€™s the only reason for the BFG.

I donโ€™t remember all the post about spacers and the โ€œpokeโ€ but I really like the look I got. Hope this helps members with the white letters out, 1.5โ€ spacers, on 37โ€s decision.

Nope I just want rearview mirror when the camera is off. I got this for security recording and for offroad/roadtrip recording. I don't even need it as a back up camera as I have that factory. I don't want the camera view on at all while driving since it's not always safe.

Amazing! Old school and truck AF. I would have had to have a special order on backorder to get white letters and I was too impatient. Also tried to get white letter Goodyear Eagle F1s for my Shelby about 15 years ago and they didnโ€™t exist. Nice to see they're coming back!

Yeah, I'm not down with that I want a mirror and to drive legally. I have my rear camera mounted inside and it's definition is also subpar or atleast far inferior to my eyesight with a functioning rearview. I also never want to be at the mercy of some Chinese electronic for visibility if the camera stops working. Do you drive at night? That rear camera is ass in the dark. Atleast when mounted inside.

Wolfbox email reply. Absurd that they sell this to take place of the mirror then. They should have designed a true dash camera instead. Can't trust a company like this. Not safe, and not DOT compliant. Otherwise this would be a great product but just asanine and irresponsible and negligent. I know many people don't use their mirrors, eyes, turn signals ect but I just don't drive like that.

My DV8 frame mounted rock sliders came today but I won't slap them on until either later this week or next week as I need my son to help me since they are heavy and it prob takes 2 people..

I also received my DV8 a-arm skids today and got them installed. These should have been a simple install but turned into a massive mess! The shop that had previously installed my lift put the bolts upside down.

This is probably what your Bronco a-arm bolts look like: Notice that the bolts are coming in from the top, down through the a-arm and that the nuts on the underside?

Screenshot 2025-07-07 at 18.11.16.png

Well, mine were reversed with the flat bolt head on the bottom and the nuts up in the a-arm...... I don't think in the big scheme of things it matters, as long as they are secured..

This posed quite the problem for me... Getting a wrench or a socket down onto the nut inside the arm was problematic.. After about an hour I finally had all 4 (both sides out). This should have taken 5 minutes.

Next up, I figure now that I have them out, I'll try to put them back to as they were stock.. NOPE! The bolts are too long so you cannot get a straight enough angle to drop them down through the hole.. Another 30-45 down the drain trying to get them in.. If only I could lift it, remove the tire and the bottom shock bracket then I could get them down through. Nope!

The a-arm instruction say to install them with full weight of the Bronco on the ground so the shock does not move when remove the bolts.. This limited what I was able to do. IF the treaded portion of the bolt was down, like it is stock, then installing the skid would have been easy peasy. No such luck for this kid!

I now needed to hold the skid up where the a-arm holes are, guess where to insert the bolt so it would line up and go up through the a-arm holes. Once I accomplished that, I then had to try and hold it in place while I maneuvered the nut onto the bolt that's now inside the a-arm and the skid.. YIKES.. Another hour or so down the drain..

Let me tell you, for an old dude like me these things are heavy and awkward to try and hold in place with one arm, while trying to insert bolts and buts into the a-arm hole and the skid.. And to make matters worse, there are 2 bolts that need to be done like this on each side..

So what should have been a 1 hour job, at most, turned into 4+ hours....

Well they are in.. Don't mind the spider in the 1st photo, it was 90+ degrees out and the little creature probably just wanted some shade..

What no protective coating of dirt and mud under there?! That's the first time I've seen your rig not covered in nature.

Again, weird.. I pretty much only use mine as a rearview mirror and the cameras are just there to record if something interesting happens either on road or while off road...

Mine functions as a rearview mirror almost exactly the same as stock, maybe it's slightly darker..

Did you buy it from the Amazon link I sent you in PM? If so, just return it. Apologies for recommending something that did not work out for you..

Wolfbox's response is absolute BS! If you have any issue returning, or getting a replacement, PM me or text me and I'll reach out to the Wolfbox contact that keeps sending their gear for free to see if they can help..

The Bronco had a detailing spa day a few weeks ago. They did a good job on it but I took it back out a few days later and got it filthy again. It basically only has one trips worth of crud on it ( for now ๐Ÿ˜‚ ) and then I ran it through a self serve car wash and hosed it, and the underside, down .

It's semi clean but I am headed back out next week.. ๐Ÿ‘

I have my rear camera mounted outside. And mine works actually much better than the mirror did. It is way way better quality image than the Ford camera. But my Ford camera is pointed downward to see what is directly behind me, I pointed this one more horizontal and and I can see far behind me as well as a dramatically wider view. If it ever goes out I still have my side view mirrors and I can turn my head.... I still turn my head out of habit when in reverse and often have to stop and look at the monitor for a better view, LOL.... I am pretty sure this is legal, at least here.

That was my complaint the mirror off is reflective but it is not a mirror, it is like using your cell phone turned off as a mirror. now that I am used to it it is OK it is like having really dark tint, which our suburban had so it's like that. but it vibrates a lot and my remote camera crapped out so I need to get a replacement for that. the camera kinda works but if I plug it in the whole thing glitches really bad and locks up.
I was hoping it was like our cheap nest thermostat and be a mirror when off and a screen when on.
