I’ve decided to use DV-8 a-pillar drop mounts. What I haven’t been able to make a decision on is what lights to use.

Are you thinking of under the bumper for the rear install or does your bumper have install points so the lights aren’t “hanging” under the bumper? Asking because I’ve seen at least one instance where an obstacle almost destroyed a pair of lights installed under the rear bumper.

Actually I am thinking of making my own mounts on top of the spare tire delete. that way I have them up high.

Okay... got a few pics for you.... unfortunately everything near home had lots of urban ambient light.... so best I could do on the fly...

First is low beams only so you can get an idea how much ambient there is... (and there is a lot.)

Next is low beams and rock lights

then I turned on the zone lights with the rocks and low beams

Okay so now I added the black Oak spreaders that I am using as ditch lights.

Then for fun I turned on the KC combo spot and floods.

Blinding front shot

Oh... but I forgot to turn on the fog lights too.

I think the zone lights help but those spreader/ditch lights make it seem like they are not even there....

Never did turn on the high beams...

LOL! that is a robot for you.... the ambient light made the lights look "less" than..... That and the light was "ambient" as in not what the Bronco was producing.

Just noticed something else... I would expect a robot to have better engrish..... Maybe these posts are not a robot????

Idk what i did. Need tech help…. My car play system wont let me reply to a text by speaking a reply and only gives me a list of replies. Happens whether i am moving or stopped.

That is what comes up… I hat did i do to change it. 🤷‍♂️. Help plz!!

Does not look like car play is active in that image.. Normally if car play is active it have have the car play icon in-between audio and phone..

Hmmm… unsure what caused this, but like @raqball said, looks like car play got turned off. Have you tried a reset?

I have not. Will try tomorrow. I know it worked earlier this week but didnt today and i thought it may have been something i did or button hit accidentally 🐎

If you have an iPhone, go to settings, general, CarPlay, you should see your Bronco, select it, and then make sure it is on. Sometimes mine fails to connect and while in the Bronco I have to cycle it off and back on to get it to connect.

Thanks.. i had to do just that. Even though phone was sync’d, car play wasn’t connected

Loaded up last Thursday and headed 7 hours from Cedar Park, TX to Merus Adventure Park. Three nights of camping in the South Pens area with some good friends. Saw some unexpected awesome sights, especially the Northern Lights and the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet. The wheeling was great too! The unexpected downpour of rain as soon as we started the drop-in made it interesting and added some mud to the adventure!
