Supposedly, my Heritage Edition order was "previewed."

So....I originally ordered early December of 2021. Ordered a 4 door Outer Banks, LUX, hard top, tow pkg. Smaller dealership with fewer orders.......you're right.....it was never built. When my order got pushed to 2023, I had lost all faith in Ford and gave up on my idea of trading my 4Runner and making the Bronco my every day vehicle. I bought a new 4Runner, instead, and switched my order to 2 door Heritage, 2.3/manual. Only thing I added were roof rails and floor mats. I need tow Pkg for a small kayak trailer but I figure I can add a hitch and four pin wiring myself, easily enough. I still had no faith that it would ever show up, between all of Ford's issues and my dealership's small allocation. I stopped in today just for laughs and spoke with my salesman, who also happens to be the son of the owner of the dealership. He said they have 60 carryover orders remaining and I am actually the only one that switched his order to a Heritage Edition. It's a simple build and the sales manager gave me a priority code of 10 when I ordered it. After looking at the orders, he told me that my order has been "previewed" by Ford and that it's possible I could get a production date sometime in February. We shall see. Has anyone else heard anything about their Heritage Edition orders?

Ahhhhh I didn't know there was two versions! Thanks for the clarification.

Here’s the Cliff Notes:
Bronco Heritage Edition is based on the Big Bend model and as appreciation for our patience, was made available for existing order and reservation holders to convert our orders to for 2023 MY.

Bronco Heritage Limited Edition is based on the Badlands model. Production will span the 2023 and 2024 model years. There will only be 1,966 two-door HEL Broncos produced and 1,966 four-door HEL Broncos produced. All Bronco Heritage Limited Editions will be allocated to dealers and not available to order.

I think they did a good job of capturing the 1966 Bronco in a modern interpretation. I'm very into nostalgia so, when I saw this, I quickly switched my order over last September. It's a small dealership but I guess i was the only one who switched their order to the Heritage. Maybe this is the only one they will get this year.

In case you have not seen this bit of nostalgia…the 1966 promo

Congrats on getting scheduled. Once they start getting built we need to get a Heritage group started.
Why wait??? It can be done one of two ways… on the 6g site Color clubs are Threads added to the Photo/video section like this… https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/cactus-gray-bronco-club.18218/page-69#post-1771535

The other way is to create an actual club like this… https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/groups/base-bronco-club.119/

My reservation was 08/25/20, changed from Badlands to Heritage 2 door w/ 2.7 and automatic trans, converted to confirmed on 11/28/22. Sounds like because of the 2.7 I have an even longer wait..........

Saw this posted yesterday, similar to last round…
“One of the dealers on the board said Ford is scheduling another round of Heritage, Base, and manuals this week.”
