Supposedly, my Heritage Edition order was "previewed."

So....I originally ordered early December of 2021. Ordered a 4 door Outer Banks, LUX, hard top, tow pkg. Smaller dealership with fewer orders.......you're right.....it was never built. When my order got pushed to 2023, I had lost all faith in Ford and gave up on my idea of trading my 4Runner and making the Bronco my every day vehicle. I bought a new 4Runner, instead, and switched my order to 2 door Heritage, 2.3/manual. Only thing I added were roof rails and floor mats. I need tow Pkg for a small kayak trailer but I figure I can add a hitch and four pin wiring myself, easily enough. I still had no faith that it would ever show up, between all of Ford's issues and my dealership's small allocation. I stopped in today just for laughs and spoke with my salesman, who also happens to be the son of the owner of the dealership. He said they have 60 carryover orders remaining and I am actually the only one that switched his order to a Heritage Edition. It's a simple build and the sales manager gave me a priority code of 10 when I ordered it. After looking at the orders, he told me that my order has been "previewed" by Ford and that it's possible I could get a production date sometime in February. We shall see. Has anyone else heard anything about their Heritage Edition orders?

Over on 6g a couple folks had their heritage builds scheduled today. I would check the backdoor link and see if you are lucky.

I don't have a reservation number. I was a walk in order back in early December of 2021. I don't think there's any back door link that works with an order number, is there?

Unfortunately no. You can talk to your dealer, or wait on the email.

Congratulations! Red is a great color for the HE.
Don't feel guilty, 13+ months is plenty long. I think the vast majority here will celebrate with you and others like you, even if they wish they had their own. A win for the community is a win for the community :)

Congrats!!! First image I've seen where the white top looked good. It provably looks good with blue too but that red/white is legit.

I think they did a good job of capturing the 1966 Bronco in a modern interpretation. I'm very into nostalgia so, when I saw this, I quickly switched my order over last September. It's a small dealership but I guess i was the only one who switched their order to the Heritage. Maybe this is the only one they will get this year.

I'm definitely with you on the nostalgia. I love the classics with the white tops and the orange with white is one of my favorites. I had been thinking about painting my top white before the HE was announced then I saw the images and took pause. Granted the HE orange is all wrong and it might look better on the COM but I'm not taking the chance. I think some black and dark green rigs might look nice with a tan top too I don't know if I'd join forces with Eddie Bauer necessarily but they could just call it the EB edition.

I can’t believe they are scheduling HEs I thought those were late availability.

They did say late availability for the Heritage Editions but then clarified and said that deliveries would begin in 2nd quarter of 2023. If I don't get pushed back on production, it won't be delivered until sometime in May at the earliest.

Congrats on getting scheduled. Once they start getting built we need to get a Heritage group started.

Waiting for my 2 dr. Outer Banks, Race Red, Sas, 2.7, mod bumper ordered 11/4/21 Converted to 23 Heritage, 2 dr. 2.3, 7 speed manual, switches, still in Race Red, scheduled the week of ~~3/27,~~ ~~4/3,~~ ~~4/10, 4/17, 5/1, 5/22, 6/26, 6/19, 6/23, 6/26, 7/14, 7/13~~, 7/12 After 656 days she's home 8/21/23
