NOTICE:
Some areas contain Bronco Easter Eggs that have been posted…..

Turn Around, if you don’t want them Found!!!

We all know some of the little secrets that the Bronco holds….
Most of us know where the different Easter Eggs are located throughout the Bronco, most of us know that when unlocking our Broncos and when you want to open the windows at the same time, to push the unlock button again but hold it this time for 3 to 5 seconds and it will roll all the windows down.

EDITED:
I believe you must have Mid Package or higher for the windows to roll down with key fob, not confirmed yet!!!

Another secret that probably not as many know like the windows rolling down, is when your Key Fob has a dead battery and you use your key that’s within the key fob to get inside the Bronco, “well how do you start it” simple, pull all the junk out of your center arm console and remove the rubber bottom, there you will notice an area where your Key Fob will lay inside the bottom of the console, just place your key there and your vehicle will start…..
Finally the one I discovered by accident…..
I have not seen this anywhere so far on Bronco Nation about this little discovery that I found purely by accident.
While wiping down the interior of my Bronco after a very dusty Drummond Island trip, I accidentally pushed the Volume Button on the Radio, long and behold the Radio turned on and this was without my key fob with me.
I have always during the summer went out to my Bronco for lunch to listen to the radio, I have always just pushed the start button once, turned off my lights, and left it on that way so I can listen for the half hour that it stays on.
We all know if you turn it off with the doors closed the radio will stay on (preset amount) 10 minutes and then goes out, and if your doors are open it will shut off instantly.
Now without hitting anything, other than unlocking your doors, jump in with or without the doors open and just hit the power button on the radios volume control, only the radio and the infotainment center turns on and I believe it stays on for approximately 20 minutes.
I am not sure if there’s a preset time that can be adjusted or not, I haven’t seen anything yet in the infotainment center, plus you can also turn off the infotainment screen at any time, so this will leave you with little power being consumed while your listening to the radio.
This especially works well when your significant other is being dropped off at a grocery store and you’re waiting to pick them up, you can listen to the radio for a longer set time, just by hitting the power button on the radio.
Maybe everyone knows about this, “but I didn’t, and I thought it was something worth sharing with everyone.”

Well now it’s your turn!
Has anybody else discovered anything that may, or may not be new to all of us, or even something that you haven’t seen before, but you think everyone has, so you don’t post it!!!
Because I guarantee there are some of us out there that don’t know about the couple of gems I’ve posted, and they’re just finding out about it now…..

I thought I would try it again, just to make sure I’ve tried everything……

Now I have found myself with windows that won’t stay up, it’s just starting to rain now, and my windows rolled right back down, the second I rolled them back up, I can tell they are out of sink now because they won’t stay up and when they reach the bottom the window is sticking up out of the door about an inch.
Needless to say I had to do the trick where you slowly roll them up and when it gets to the top hold the window button for 5 seconds, then roll them back down and hold for 5 seconds again….
Of course they failed my first couple of times, why not it’s raining!!! 🤣🤣😆
I tried it again for the third time, and it finally worked, I don’t know why it didn’t work the first couple of times, but at least I finally got them to stay up…

I can honestly say, there is no way to bring your windows up with the key fob, unless you have used FORSCAN to do this operation and be successful….

I’ve tried everything with the Key Fob I can think of to put the windows up, and all it led to was my windows not staying up….

Did this work for you? It's possible that this feature is not enabled by default, depending on trim level. There's a way to enable it with the For[d]Scan software, which requires and OBD II device and a computer to run the free software.

You are exactly correct!!!
This did not work for me, I assumed the member who did have it work, must have used FORSCAN to change it so it would work for them….
I have posted about this (above) on what happened to me when I tried everything to roll them back up using the Key Fob….

Just “click to expand” 👍

For those who have or are willing to dabble with For[d]Scan (I don't know why it bugs me so much that they call it ForScan 😀), here are the settings to change:

1697837153971.png
Note that the APIM change is supposed to add the Global Window to the Sync4 settings menu.

To roll windows down, press and release the Unlock button on the key fob, then press and hold Unlock again.
To roll windows up, press and release the Lock button on the key fob, then press and hold Lock again.

Has anyone else found the beer, uh, I mean bottle opener?

I know it’s not on the 2 Door but I believe it’s on the 4 door, but I’m not sure if it’s through MY2023!!!

It’s only on the 4 Doors! I have one!!

Someone at Boise Bronco informed me about the bottle opener located in the left rear sloping section of the roll bar. Don’t know if that’s well known but it was new for me.

Sorry I didn’t respond to your post @Dakotagirl quick enough, the person at Boise Bronco is absolutely correct.
You will only find that bottle opener on 4 Door Bronco’s not the 2 Door….
Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!!!

Are the pictures where you are talking about?

I’m not sure if this is so much as a tray, or just a way that Ford molded the handle to make it lighter and stronger.
However if this is something that someone could use as a tray to hide a key or some small jewelry, then it could be used as a tray.

For me, I would not have anything that would fit in there except for maybe a key, and even then I’d be afraid of losing it when I pull the handle to get out and not notice it!!!
Especially after I got done using the bottle opener on the back Roll Bar one too many times, and I wouldn’t have noticed the key falling down to the ground….🤪😜

Thanks for sharing @bigblueboing it could be useful for others though!!! 😀

I saw the picture the first time when @EGBronc posted it, and it was correct, not sure what happened the next day but the picture did flip to the side, (thinking to myself) “this is not a very good design to open a bottle facing downward .” 🤣
I guess if your fast enough, maybe you can go straight to the beer bong!!! 🤪

This one will mostly pertain to the new Bronco owners…….😉

This one I discovered a couple months into owning my Bronco!!!
I don’t know why I never saw this right away, but when I would get to work I always hated all of the interior lights kicking on when I would open the door, and they were just to bright to deal with in the early morning.

I finally started looking around how to tone them down, when I discovered the button to the far front right of the Auxiliary Switches, with or without switches it’s in the same place.
This button was not lit up, and of course every time I think of the lighting, it was too dark and I couldn’t see this button.
Pressing this button I noticed that the interior lights did not go on but kept this soft blue light on when you opened the door, this was much better on the eyes early in the dark morning.
The nice part about this interior push button light, is that an Icon stays lit so you can see where it is if you need to switch to the brighter interior lights.

Note:
I turned the interior lights off so you can see the lit button, otherwise it’s blacked out!!!

The only problem that I have encountered so far, is if someone like a significant other borrows your Bronco, and returns after shopping at night, she/he may say the words “your stupid Bronco doesn’t have interior lights, You get the groceries.” 🤣

I do wish Ford made this button a little bigger, or perhaps in a better place, if the icon is not lit up, it’s almost impossible to find this flat button!

The Ford engineer who designed that panel must be a short person. I sit tall in the seat and cannot see the buttons, so I have to go by touch. A terrible design IMO because the buttons lack any type of surface texture to differentiate them from the surrounding plastic. They should have indentations or bumps.

I am totally with you on this!
Out of all my years of driving cars/trucks, this has to be the worst as far as finding interior lighting to turn on or off, I find myself “exactly what you said,” feeling around with my hands to find the right buttons, with them being flat and very small it is definitely a challenge to find….

Yep found that one by accident. Took a minute to find it when I finally noticed we didn’t have dome lights anymore. I use it all the time now, it’s pretty dark here and when you get out to get the gate or something it is nice to not be blinded when you have to walk in the dark.

Almost the same scenario here, I was looking for the dome lights in the dark and started messing with the buttons all around the headlight knob, “where they should be” and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t turn the dome lights up or even on.
I’m pretty sure a lot of choice words were used that night, so I just gave up and waited till the next day and that’s when I discovered it!!!

Well, more than likely I am the last person that owns a Bronco to discover this, and I don’t know why I never noticed this before…..
The Blind Spot Detection with Cross Traffic system was something I have never set before, and I’ve been driving my Bronco for almost a year now.
Just yesterday I was backing out of my parking spot at work, and I noticed that in the backup camera at the top left and right side there are two icons, and since I still drive like I don’t have a backup camera I have never noticed the Icons.
The top left Icon when you tap it Zooms in on your visual area to see things closer.
The Top right hand side, is your on/off for your Blind Spot Detection with Cross Traffic sensors……
I have always wondered why I have never heard it go off after almost a year now, and like I said, I’m probably the only person that didn’t recognize this before, but I thought that was awesome to discover this……

This is with it off…..

Fascinatingly... I am going to have to recheck mine because I think it displays differently. I am pretty sure I do not have the black dashed line down the middle instead I have two white solid lines that project where the outside of the tires will travel. as I change my steering the white lines curve to reflect where my tires will travel. I do not think I have the blue "P" in the upper right... maybe... I do know I have a representation of the bronco that shows when things are in the range of the sensors... It shows which sensor is detecting something (the light area shown behind the bronco) each 25% will light up orange when something is detected and will turn red if as things get closer.

I rarely use the camera unless I believe I’m going to run someone or something over…😆
I still have my head stuck in the 80s when it comes to driving, I will still turn my head from left to right and checking my mirrors before I look at the backup camera, most of the time my camera is dirty any how….
It’s a habit I can’t break!!!
