NOTICE:
Some areas contain Bronco Easter Eggs that have been posted…..

Turn Around, if you don’t want them Found!!!

We all know some of the little secrets that the Bronco holds….
Most of us know where the different Easter Eggs are located throughout the Bronco, most of us know that when unlocking our Broncos and when you want to open the windows at the same time, to push the unlock button again but hold it this time for 3 to 5 seconds and it will roll all the windows down.

EDITED:
I believe you must have Mid Package or higher for the windows to roll down with key fob, not confirmed yet!!!

Another secret that probably not as many know like the windows rolling down, is when your Key Fob has a dead battery and you use your key that’s within the key fob to get inside the Bronco, “well how do you start it” simple, pull all the junk out of your center arm console and remove the rubber bottom, there you will notice an area where your Key Fob will lay inside the bottom of the console, just place your key there and your vehicle will start…..
Finally the one I discovered by accident…..
I have not seen this anywhere so far on Bronco Nation about this little discovery that I found purely by accident.
While wiping down the interior of my Bronco after a very dusty Drummond Island trip, I accidentally pushed the Volume Button on the Radio, long and behold the Radio turned on and this was without my key fob with me.
I have always during the summer went out to my Bronco for lunch to listen to the radio, I have always just pushed the start button once, turned off my lights, and left it on that way so I can listen for the half hour that it stays on.
We all know if you turn it off with the doors closed the radio will stay on (preset amount) 10 minutes and then goes out, and if your doors are open it will shut off instantly.
Now without hitting anything, other than unlocking your doors, jump in with or without the doors open and just hit the power button on the radios volume control, only the radio and the infotainment center turns on and I believe it stays on for approximately 20 minutes.
I am not sure if there’s a preset time that can be adjusted or not, I haven’t seen anything yet in the infotainment center, plus you can also turn off the infotainment screen at any time, so this will leave you with little power being consumed while your listening to the radio.
This especially works well when your significant other is being dropped off at a grocery store and you’re waiting to pick them up, you can listen to the radio for a longer set time, just by hitting the power button on the radio.
Maybe everyone knows about this, “but I didn’t, and I thought it was something worth sharing with everyone.”

Well now it’s your turn!
Has anybody else discovered anything that may, or may not be new to all of us, or even something that you haven’t seen before, but you think everyone has, so you don’t post it!!!
Because I guarantee there are some of us out there that don’t know about the couple of gems I’ve posted, and they’re just finding out about it now…..

It is here on the signature lighting!!!

Don’t think I ever noticed that one. I need to spend some more time with Darryl. Maybe this fall I’ll give him a good bath and apply some ceramic coating.

I have applied 3 coats so far of Ceramic Coating, and the last Off-Road excursion that several BN members and I went on, the trails had lots of limbs and leaves sticking out, plus not only that the dust on our Broncos was so heavy, you almost couldn’t even tell what color anybody’s Bronco was….
The lines running down the sides of my Bronco through the dust, would have made anyone cringe.
The minute I had a chance to wash her up, you couldn’t even see one line of any scratches running down the sides….
I will never use wax again!!!

Most of the Forum’s and online websites have not really called out as this being an Easter Egg, even though I think it should have been…..
If you look up Easter Eggs under “Ford Bronco Easter Eggs” almost always nobody includes the Trim Level Sasquatch Badges that are placed just in front, of the front doors on the quarter panels.
Anyhoo!!!
There is a Sasquatch on every Trim Badge that has the Sasquatch package or comes with Sasquatch because of the trim, some very visible and some not so much.
The two Trim Badges that are hard to see unless you are looking at it at the right angle are the Big Bend and the Outer Banks.
The rest of the Sasquatch Trim Badges are pretty noticeable.
Below are the Sasquatch Trim Badges in the order according to the Trim Level…. MY2021 - MY2023
The Base Bronco is obviously one of the most noticeable!!!

Discovered this by accident!
“We’ll sort of”

Early to Mid February we were doing some winter off-roading with a few Bronco Nation Members on a fairly easy trail on the West side of the State, and about a week after that, I decided to add mud flaps to the front of my Bronco.
While adding my front mud Flaps I noticed on the driver’s side there was some grease sprayed around in the wheel well and on some of the suspension parts, keep in mind I just got done doing some off-roading the week before.
Upon further investigation, I noticed a little hole in the CV Joint boot housing, this is something that needed fixing right away.

***The fix for the hole in the CV Joint boot worked very well for me!!!

What I did was buy a bike tire patch kit from any store that sells tires or bikes, and from an automotive store I bought Black Permatex form a gasket sealer, and a tube of CV Joint grease.

EDITED:
Turn your wheel and move your Bronco to expose the hole in the boot, to be able to have good access to it!!!

First I pumped some grease back through the little hole with a grease gun with a needle nose grease end.
After I put the grease in, I cleaned the outside very well and added some permatex to just the hole and barely squeezed a little in, hardly anything in, half a second I would say.

Then followed the directions for the tire patch kit, basically scuffed it up around the area of the hole, then put the rubber cement on the patch and folded it over the boot, held it there for about 5 minutes just to make sure the glue was dry enough.

About a half hour later, I then added some more Permatex Form a Gasket around the patch and a little over the edge of the patch, (not a lot, just a thin layer over the patch) and then I let it dry overnight.
It has been 7 almost 8 Months since I repaired the hole in the CV Joint boot, and there has been no problem whatsoever…..

The CV Joint boot is a fairly easy part that can get damaged through rocks or sticks.
Always remember, after doing any Off-Roading, make sure to check the CV Joint Boots that surround them, to make sure you have no damage to them, this was a fairly easy trail, but it must have been a stick or something that poked the hole in the boot.

I hope this is some useful information for everyone…….

I will post pictures later with what it looks like now, after almost 8 Months!!!

EDITED:
The picture doesn’t look pretty, but it does work to seal out the water and keep in the CV Joint grease!!!

Picture now added to the repaired CV Joint boot post!!!

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Heritage Limited Bronco has anywhere on it a Sasquatch Sticker or Badge since it is Squatched?
I know it doesn’t have a Sasquatch badge where the Bronco Script is, just curious if it even has one!!!

That is an awesome find @MWNew 😍
With my age, I even surprised myself about how to do this!!!🤣
I never new that the bar slid to the left to expose more Icons, and long and behold there it is……
(The Ford Icon)

Just incase someone doesn’t know what @MWNew is letting everyone know, it is that where the RED arrows are, this is the bar you can slide to the Left with your finger.
The Blue arrow represents direction to push the icons.
Next picture is the FORD icon, just tap, and that’s it……….

I never knew that you could move the (whatever it’s called) Bar to expose more icons!!!
Thank you so much for helping other Bronco Nation Members out @MWNew this is a Great find!!!

Just so you know Bronco Nation Members, reading about someone finding something special on their Bronco or a Bronco, is no different then someone walking on a beach and finding a fossil or Petoskey stone or even a nickel, to some, it’s just like finding a rock and throwing it back down, because “it’s just a Rock,” but to others, it’s a great find as if they found a little gold nugget!!!
Some of the great finds, you may already have known about, but to others, it’s something new and useful for them…..

Keep them rolling in everyone, this is awesome!!!

You can also automatically close all windows by pressing and holding the lock button.

I thought I tried this once and they didn’t go up, however when I get up tomorrow I will definitely give this a try.

I hope it does work, because that would be a game changer for me!!!

I appreciate it!!!

Did this work for you? It's possible that this feature is not enabled by default, depending on trim level. There's a way to enable it with the For[d]Scan software, which requires and OBD II device and a computer to run the free software.
