Howdy from sunny Arizona. Today we had some clouds in the afternoon, even a couple sprinkles, but not enough to come inside.
I really feel for those dealing with the extreme cold. To me extreme cold is like 50, so can't even imagine the temps many are dealing with. Hopefully your prepared and all goes well.

I been trolling but not posting cuz work has been my focus.

Today was spent working on one of the sxs's. Had it out playing and the fan wouldn't come on. I promised someone sxs desert fun in the near future so the pressure is on.....

Hey folks, sorry I’ve been a bit absent lately. I’ve been running a lot of patrols with the Southern California Mountains Foundation OHV Volunteers.

Then last weekend disaster struck. It looks like I might be a victim of the bad valves. Or something else. All we know at this point is that the motor is seized up.

I was just getting started on a patrol, and bang, the engine shut off. I looked under the front and she was dumping oil on the trail.

That's a bummer, man. Are you still under warranty? Was your Bronco produced during that engine valve dilemma? How many miles have you got on her?

No, my Bronco is a Jan 22 build and I believe my engine was produced in late 21 outside the window for the recall for the valve issue. She is still under warranty with only 20K miles on her. I literally just had her in for her 20k mile service a few days prior to this happening. Also, it’s not 100% that it’s was caused by a valve yet. Galpin Ford just started digging into her on Thurs. and all we know for sure is that she needs a new motor.

Right now my focus is on getting to get @Ford Motor Company to give me a loaner so that I’m not without a means of transportation while I wait for these repairs.

I hope you get your Bronco fixed quickly and at no expense to you. And I hope you get a loaner in the meantime. Crossing fingers for you, buddy.

I kept that info on the recall. I'm just waiting for something to happen to mine. I'm sure it will happen when it is most inconvenient. My build was week of 12/13/21. Almost 60k miles now.

No they played better. Sure they were helped by snow and a backup QB but they did what they needed. It just came down to who missed fewer kicks.

Howdy Everybody! I haven't been around for a few days because I was at the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Las Vegas on Friday. I drove there on Thursday before the weather moved in and got back home this evening. The only place I saw significant snow between Las Vegas and Albuquerque was the east side of Flagstaff AZ. At the Off-Roadeo I was lucky enough to get a 2-door Black Diamond Sasquatch similar to mine. It was a total blast! Here's a few photos...

Was chatting this morning with a good friend in the Nashville area (Hendersonville) and they have trees down everywhere, no power, temp at -85° (AZ scale), and not sure when they might get the lights turned back on… Fortunately they are retired so have nowhere they have to go… IF you have to go out today, please be careful, and watch out for crazy people!

Here on the left coast we are something like 14 days running with sunshine and no rain… Looks like the rain will return tomorrow just in time for us to head out for our trip south for February… Taking the F150 as it is such a great road car, and having a little more rig in case of issues on the road keeps my bride more happier… Going to connect up with some Bronco Nation friends in the land of the sun, and surely will find some trails to try, even if I’m in the passenger seat… Might even spend a day at KoH if we can make the timing work…

Hello all. It’s been a minute since I posted last. I still have a job. I was offered another position and am still working on everything I was doing before the changes, so I am just trying to keep up until it settles down some.
@Deano Bronc I am glad you were able to make the transition work for you. My current goal is to be employed when I turn 62 later this year and pay of as much debt as possible, so If this happens again, I have more options.

We made it through the weekend of ice and sleet on the TX/OK border. We got about 4" of sleet and it’s doing a lot of damage at the Lake. Boat Docks and carports are collapsing, or the Boat Dock is sinking from the extra weight. I hope it melts off my roof without doing any damage. We should get above freezing sometime tomorrow.

I hope everyone else is doing well. I’m ready for spring and some wheeling with some of Y’all.

This was a new boat dock built last summer.
