My happy face! And the 3 ladies in this pic are going for a girls only weekend in Denver this weekend. We do have to dress up for Mile High Jeep Club party on Saturday night, that is throwing us a bit. But we are resourceful.

We’ll done, Kiddo!

Good Thursday Morning from the sunny but cool PNW…
We have a high pressure system parked over us that should keep the sun shining and the rain at bay for the next week or so… Lot’s of ‘honey do’s’ to get done before we head south for February… Just saw some videos on the RTR Bronco for 26 or 27… Looks amazing, but can’t imagine the cost it will require to secure…

Things are tense out there folks… Be Kind, Be Gracious, and Be Generous

Removing and reinstalling the flares is a breeze. Be forewarned though that it’s a bit alarming when you first pull them off; they make a dreadful popping noise that makes you think you damaged something. You didn’t, but it sounds like something broke when you first do it. Popping them back on goes much easier, and after a while, you don’t even notice the scary sounds they make when being removed or reinstalled. Trust me. 😉
Give them a good hosing. An opportunity to give the under-fender areas a good scrubbing or power-wash, too.

Thank you for that heads up Chris!

Trust me, I have seen all the dirt and mud that can get under there.
But, yes, it will be handy to have them off to clean them and protect them. Also to clean and protect where they meet the body.

Oh, I still need to learn how to use the power washer. It is the gas/oil that I'm not sure about. Once I know I understand that, I should be good to go.

Our outside spigots may have not been installed correctly. We have blown the pipe on the back one and then the front in our 1st 2 years here. It was cold and there may have still been freezing. At least this was Jeff's theory.

Good morning and Happy Friday! Hope everyone that is still working has a 3 day weekend coming up!

Packing day for my girls weekend in Denver. I'm so excited for this!

Hope I can order a bumper today. I'm working with a hot rod shop. He didn't get a chance to look yesterday, but did ask me some questions. Hope we can get it ordered today. I'm thinking that my bumper won't be any protection if I was rear-ended.

Hope everyone has a good day! Be safe out there. Hug the ones you love.

Good Friday Afternoon, Kids!
It’s a beautiful day here in Western Washington, as a dry spell with high pressure above is making it feel more like April than January… I’m even tempted to to go out and cut the grass just to get it all the same length once again…

NFL Playoff game here tomorrow night has everyone VERY excited… Our Seahawks don’t get here (NFC #1) very often, and people are really wound up. Ito always a little dicey to see a team for the third time in a year, but that’s where we are tomorrow night… Go Seahawks, Beat the Niners! Good Luck to your team wherever you might be (except SF)…

Test our your spigots and see if you get good flow. You may need a plumber.
Regarding the power washer, there's lots on YouTube. They're not complicated, but they are small gas engines and need maintenance.

Post a picture of your power washer… you mentioned gas/oil, so first thing to determine is two or four cycle (two cycles mixes oil and gas)… I’ve not seen a two cycle power washer, but it IS New Mexico…. The next big thing with power washer is be sure water is connected and on before starting the engine… otherwise you can burn the pump up pretty fast…

As Randy mentioned, you tube can likely walk you through it…

As for spigot, check for flow now and if good then look for a shutoff near your main water shutoff (maybe in garage)… depending on age of house there may or may not be an outside spigot shutoff… if there is a shut off Close it and open your spigots so they can drain the water from the pipes…

Again, you tube can likely help, and is cheaper than a plumber

It is that gas engine and fuel that make me want to be sure I understand. Also, if their is fuel and oil in it, I don't know if it was premixed or not. I have watched several YT's but they didn't help, but made me realize that I shouldn't rush it until I understand.

I have used a power washer before. But it was all gased up before I went and picked it up.
Thank you for the info on the 2cyl vs 4cyl. No wonder the hot rod shop guy gave me a funny look when I stopped by to ask him about my scratches and talk bumpers with him. He definitely wants me to learn and that means try to figure it out yourself.

It would be unusual for a PW to be 2-cycle, but not out of the question…

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Girls weekend is here! As long as I get everything into my suitcase.
I'm so excited.
It will be cool there today, like 40 for a high. But 50 tomorrow for hiking.
Looks cold up north & east. Burrrr
Hope everyone has a good weekend! Be kind and stay safe. Hug the ones you love!

Here's a suggestion if you get parched after doing your Saturday chores.
