Does anyone know where I can get 1:18th scale wheel chocks? Last night, my cat, Lola knocked my 1:18th scale Bronco die cast model on the floor. This morning, I found it upside down with the hood open. The good news is it wasn’t broken. The bad news is she lost her driving privileges. But I still need wheel chocks.🤪

Good morning! Back to the "grind", even for me. I took the weekend off. No, I didn't earn it. So I'm trying not to beat myself up over it.
I did get scheduled with an on-line auction, they are coming out Thursday. I talked to a female and she will be the one coming. She said that her and her BIL (who also works with this auction company) are avid off-roaders. Gives me good vibes. I didn't mention the Jeep, but fingers crossed they can put it in the auction.
My sister and I pinned down dates for her to fly out here the end of September. She will be riding with me when I drive back to Indiana.
I envy you all doing upgrades to your Broncos for the CO adventure. I am trying to prepare for traveling with my cats. I ordered a pet carrier that is on wheels and holds up to 45 pounds and possibly enough room for all 3 of them. This way I can get them from the Bronco to the hotel room and visa-versa. I have 3 harnesses now, with leashes. But, how the F do you get a cat in a harness? I can see Jeff shaking his head. lmao.
Been thinking of those going through treatments and those recovering from stuff. Wishing everyone a great day!
I plan on cleaning my garage this morning. There are a few things that may need to go in the auction. And I need to go through his Hawaii shirts that have been hanging out there for almost 10 years. He had to buy new ones when he quit drinking beer everyday and dropped weight. I will enjoy the memories!

It's another Monday and it's back to various versions of "the grind"... It's -17 in 60601 going to -10 with humidity at 80%. Ugh! Not wanting to jinx myself but the compressor to the 2nd floor of the house seems to be on it's last legs. Keeping my fingers crossed it'll last through this season and I can plan for a replacement next year. Or it may just need another visit from the tech...

Kirland Pacific Bold pods on the counter and a jug of orange juice in the fridge... sorry, the pickings are a bit lean today because things went nuts work-wise a bit too early.

My new life as a widow is challenging! I thought I could start a blog about how I get through my day. Continue reading to see why I talked myself out of it. Lol, boring!! I got started in the garage and decided to take a break and eat some breakfast. Then I lost internet. No TV without internet. No TV means quiet, quiet is not good for me right now. Have to unscrew the cable from the wall, easy-peasy. Screwing it back in is not easy. But I did get the TV connected to WI-FI. So, I can rearrange my living room.
I did get 95% of the garage cleaned out. I found more scrap metal, but need to move a shelving unit to get to it. Also have a few more shelves to rearrange.

Howdy from sunny Arizona. As this is the only social media I use, I'm gonna vent here. Starting with AC vents. If you live where you need a vehicle with AC don't get an Isuzu. I've had a many as 6 and the AC only works in the winter. So now I'm down to 3. Because I bought a few brand new sweepers on Freightliner chassis and 3 of them are at the dealer for warranty work. One at Freightliner, any idea what it costs to tow a large sweeper? Lots.
And two are at the sweeper manufacturer. One was delivered just 6 weeks ago.
We have so much work we have to slip seat some trucks.
Temper's run short when it's hot.

@Darrel on the cat front, all I could recommend is leaving the harnesses out in the open for them to inspect and get accustomed to so they don’t freak out when you wrap them up in one. My cat got pretty chill when it was time to hit the road because I left her carrier out in the open. She’d even nap in it on her own, so when it came time to go, I just invited her in and closed the door. All cats are different, though. Good luck! 🐈

It all begins with the left shoe

Good morning from some road in the Upper Peninsula, I am so glad that I downloaded the maps up here so the navigation is flawless.
However Google Maps is nothing like OnX off-roading maps, When you download OnX the size of files are anywhere like 550 megabytes up to 8 or 900 megabytes, Google Maps are like 25 megabytes to 75…..now I know why!
When you go offline on Google Maps you only get roads and nothing else, no details of business or pretty much no lay of the land….
OnX you get everything as if you weren’t even offline.
There are so many dead spots up here, and it’s sometimes so frustrating to find anything you are looking for, it kind of reminds me of the 80s when everyone was using paper maps.
We’re making it work however!!!

Still praying for those of you that could use it, hope everyone is getting better and better with each passing day!
