I'm with @Sven those insurance companies are the worst. Hopefully they will get back to you quickly with the approval!

They took 2 days to approve the PET scan. But this is a standard scan for cancer. FrIends here are shocked that one hasn't been done til now. And this rare cancer isn't known for being in the intestines. So, I have questions, lots of them!
The radiation isn't standard, so...
And they already did the prep for it on Jan 16th! I wonder if insurance approved it, and I suspect not.
I started a journal, and I am updating it.

I grew up in a mixed family with 8 kids (I was 3rd from the oldest)…
We were all eating dinner around the table one day (its was a thing, I promise) and my youngest brother Jeff (then maybe four years old) was excused and we could hear him in his room throwing everything out of his toy box… Finally he announced in frustration “I can’t find no f$$king marbles”!! The look my mom gave my dad is forever seared in my brain… good times!
