On a serious note...How do you people deal with the temp when it stays above freezing for aver 24 hours. I'm so confused.And the constant noise from the snow slowly sliding off the roof is freaky loud!

Good morning to all.
Back from the great up North, and it’s break time which means I can now use my phone without any chances of getting hauled up to the HR office.
We left just before a big snowfall was going to dump around 4 to 6 inches yesterday.
Had a great time playing in the snow the last couple of days!

Good Tuesday Morning, Libations Crew!
I decided not to wake the kids since for most of Western Washington schools are either closed or starting two hours late because of dicey roads. Here in Gold Bar we have just an inch or maybe two, but like many places that don;t see much snow, folks here have no clue how to drive in the white stuff, and are already aggressive, so its not a good situation out there…

As it is Taco Tuesday I have prepared bacon taco shells that can be filled with breakfast or lunch fixings, whatever turns your crank. Coffee this morning is Kirkland French Roast, and I’m ordering some new coffee this week called “Free Rein”, which is a new venture by Cole Hauser (Rip, for Yellowstone fans). Always a sucker for celebrity ventures…

Looks like some dicey weather heading into the heartland, so be careful if you have to be out and about..

Good Snowy Wednesday Morning, Parents!
Kids are sleeping in as schools are the area are closed for snow… Driving in this stuff is not something Western Washington drivers do enough to do it well, so better to keep kids home and safe. Funny thing, when I lived and worked in Eastern Washington, where we experienced snow regularly all winter, we almost NEVER closed school for snow. It was quite a culture shock when I moved to the west side and snow days for 1” of snow were a common sight…

French Roast from Kirkland is brewing, and there will be donuts later.

34 above the zero. 30+ MPH winds...still = no roof shoveling for me.
Thank goodness for liquid dinosaurs and Honda snowblowers. Lunch break task is to get to the front door! Happy Hump Day! Life from the Caldera!

Welp, all has been cancelled. They need insurance approval. Only took them 36 days to figure that out.
New Mexico is not the state to live in if you have medical needs. 😖
