The cherry trees are holding their blossoms nicely and I’m hoping for a big win for MSU today as we kick off March Madness.

What a crazy season for my Bobcats. Picked 7th in our conference with all that happened losing our coach and four starters. Won the auto bid for the conference. I will be pretty useless for the day....GO CATS. Time to get a Madness 'W"

Internet is working at home. But my employer's data center is having issues. So, I can't work. Not really happy about this! And you all may not appreciate me when I'm bored. LOL!
It is beautiful here today. High of 60 and mostly sunny, very low chance of showers this afternoon. Next 3 days in the upper 60's and sunny and no chance of rain. Wish I could go out and enjoy. But need to be close in case things start working again.

I was on a 1982 Yamaha 650 Maxim on the hiway at hiway speed and being so comfortable on the bike with no hands and such I wondered what would happen if I hit the handle bars hard on one side. I did and the bike went into a tank slapper. That is where the handle bars go back and forth banging on each side of the tank hard. The bars are out of control slapping from one side of the tank to the other hard and you are still going straight down the hiway. This can happen in a speed wobble but I decided to do it just for fun. Needless to say I didn't do that again. The crazy thing is that is nothing in the big picture of all the stupid stuff I have done.

One other quick one. When I was a kid I opened the neighbors door as their dog was barking at me and I hit him directly in the nose with my cork gun and he bit me. I can remember it clear as day. The cork was like in slow motion or something and the dog was shocked for a second, then he bit me. I better stop there....haha

One thing that most people don't know about motorcycles, is that they are pretty stable on the road. They are actually like a gyroscope as long as they stay in motion and their travel is not interrupted. If you are going straight, you can take your hands off of the bars and relax, but I wouldn't recommend that. One hand off the bars is all I do.

Another stupid guy thing. I know the military needs to recruit young bucks to fight, but from my experience, it's like giving teenagers and 20 something year old kids awesome fireworks. Whenever we would get into war game scenarios, we would be given grenade and artillery simulators. They were actual explosives, but not as powerful. They could still kill someone. Had one hit the hood of the Hummvee and exploded before the windshield. It was nighttime and I was driving. It ruined my sight for awhile. My assistant driver had to grab the wheel and take control until we could pull over and get in the driver's seat.
