We could park about 10 class A RVs in our yard. We have septic, so you could dump. Water would be an issue, 1 spigot in back and 1 in front. We have 2 full baths. But, I don't have a guest bedroom, so that I can have pants free hump day. Lol

Not sure on hotels, but one of my accounts owns 8 hotels and 2 are in Abq, so rooms might be available, it may need to be reserved a year out.

I will look when I am on a computer tomorrow. It starts 1st Saturday in October. 1st 2 weeks are prime time for the winds to provide the box effect (or affect). Should be the 6th next year.
They were beautiful this morning! But I couldn't get a picture.
There is a Bronco meet up Saturday morning. On the other side of the field, so I don't know if the popo (no disrespect) will let us turn away from the direction of getting to parking near the field or if I will need to take a very long ride to get there.
Weather has been spectacular this year. Expecting 9 for 9 days of mass ascensions.

It’s quite cathartic even if a little risky…

In a way, that video shows how good that relationship is… makes me wonder how many times the cat’s self-control has prevented the parrot from being food. 😳

If this happens in 2025, this’ll be my THIRD prospective trip… 🥸 (Voice in my head says “Why not?!?” 😂😂😂 )

If there are no hotel rooms, sleeping in the Bronco parked in @Darrel ‘s yard is always an option for me.

Good morning, Bronco people! My week through yesterday felt like it has been Monday-Monday-Tuesday-Monday. Today, my schedule looks like it’ll finally be Friday. Fingers crossed tht it holds.

It’ll be the warmest day of the week today in 60601 — 55 heading to 83. Sunday will be the Chicago Marathon with temps forecasted to be 48 to 65.

There’s a pot of BRC Just Black that’s ready for those hankering for their first cup or to fill your travel mug if you’re heading out the door. Also a box of Costco croissants and some spreads beside it so please help yourself.

My brother in FL has reported they are okay. Their home seems to also have survived Milton. Still no power but faucets still work and cellphone services are slowly returning. Many have not been as fortunate so let’s keep doing what we can for the recovery, including those still digging out from Helene. Wishing @Deano Bronc and Suzy a safe journey as they help out in Asheville.

Steve Austin continues to improve, but his sleeping habits are AWFUL, and so here I am at 0430 on my iPad checking in with y’all. Anyway, thanks for the kind words of encouragement to me and @BroncOitis as we heal up from our various procedures…

Coffee is on, and there will be pancakes later this morning… maybe even some “big skinnies” as my mom used to call crepes… fruit and blintz fillings will abound…

Looks like the last sunny weekend for awhile here on the left coast… a rainy week will ensue come Monday, so will have to get the last of the yard work done this weekend while the sun still shines…

Lots to be thankful for, and still lots of pain and work ahead for those affected by Helene and Milton. Safe travels Dean and Suzy as you head back to NC.

I brought Henry up here for some more R&R, Henry is a wimp when it comes to surgeries, and he had to go see the Northern Lights.
I didn’t want to go see them but he made me go anyways……geeeesh….
