Which Bronco influencers do you like to follow on Instagram? Good, credible content, product reviews, medium following base. Thanks!

Before tide pods were considered food, there were people actually trying to help others with videos.

I follow a few Bronco enthusiasts on YouTube. In no particular order, they include:

Sarah-N-Tuned - She is a panic. She owns her own shop in the southern California desert and works on several projects simultaneously, including a 6th generation Ford Bronco. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Chase Gentry - He is very active in the Broncoverse and always seems to be adding something or changing something on his Bronco Wildtrak. Fun to follow his exploits. Great drone footage! (and Bronco Nation member)

Long McArthur Ford - Sales and industry news are provided by Tim Bartz. Very informative and helpful Ford dealer.

NorthWest Bronco - A Bronco off-road and overlander enthusiast (and Bronco Nation member) delivers some interesting Bronco content.

The Lonely Overlander - A Bronco Nation member from north of the border, who gives some interesting perspectives through his exploits.

Ask Jorge Lopez - A Ford dealer salesperson who shares a lot of useful behind-the-scenes information regarding Broncos and other Ford products. Much-appreciated straight talk!

Town & Country TV - Mitchell Watts is a Ford dealer salesperson who like Jorge Lopez, delivers straight talk about Ford products and the various goings-on in the industry. He also shares a lot of content on modifying Broncos. Very inspiring!

Wild Horses Off Road - Bronco Nation member Mitch Creel offers a lot of content involving both new and vintage Broncos. It's often entertaining and informative. Very active in the community.

Driven Mad - A Ford Bronco owner shares his off-roading experiences and offers comparisons to his Jeeps.

All-Terrain Nation - It is not limited to Ford Bronco, but this is one of his latest acquisitions, so he imparts a lot of Bronco-specific information and shares his off-road experience.

North Shore Bronco - This channel is run by a Canuck who owns a modified manual 6th-generation Ford Bronco and also works as a tech at a Ford dealer. Interesting insights.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. - All-around Ford enthusiast and influencer by virtue of his knowledge and experience. Also runs a shop called RTR that specializes in Ford performance and offers lots of Bronco modification components.

Driven Wild Outdoors - A Bronco Nation member whose family owns two Broncos and who share their overlanding experiences. They also attend Bronco-themed events.

There are many more, but here's a place to start. Enjoy!
These aren't really influencers. They are more like supporters, fans, educators. They post useful content same as Bronco Nation. Just because it's online doesn't make them influencers. These people actually contribute something to people amd society.

Correct and there still are. However they are not influencers.

You realize that not all of us log on here 10 times per day, right? 😎 I'd actually be interested to know what the average is. once per day? Once every few days? Once per week?

10? thats all?

You’re right, of course. It’s semantics. I never make lists of things I have to do or things I have to get for my Bronco based on what others are doing or what what they are getting. And I really don’t care how they're perceived by the masses. Do they influence me? Do they influence how I choose to spend my money? Hard to say. They give me ideas, nothing more. Because in the end, I’m the one who’s got to pay for it!

There is a book called “Wanting…The Power of Mimetic Desire in Everyday Life” that talks about how people often want what other people appear to want, for no other reason than it is wanted. The “influencer culture “ is at the heart of this. It’s monetized influencing. We’re all guilty of being unduly influenced at one point or another. What you really need to ask is why you want to purchase something. Is it because you like it or because others appear to like it?

For me, I enjoy watching what Bronco enthusiasts are up to. I don’t feel the need to emulate their behavior, but that doesn’t mean I find it any less entertaining.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Well stated. You get it. I'll admit I almost got the SAS because it was what was "cool" but realized it would be overkill for my uses and a needless expense.

There's something ironic about all the boomers using a message board to complain about social media influencers.

You built that rack for the back? If so, when will you have some in? I want one!
I did. It's been a fun project - until I have a ton of orders to package and ship :) Packaging and shipping isn't nearly as fun as designing and fabricating. They're back in stock right now and my entire evening tonight, and maybe into tomorrow, will be packaging up backorders. C'est la vie :)

Technically, I'm Gen X... and bet many replying are as well...

  • The Greatest Generation – born 1901-1924
  • The Silent Generation – born 1925-1945
  • The Baby Boomer Generation – born 1946-1964
  • Generation X – born 1965-1979
  • Millennials – born 1980-1994
  • Generation Z – born 1995-2012
  • Gen Alpha – born 2013 – 2025

The Interwebs is too scary and confusing for Boomers, especially the older Boomers (like my parents).

I’m a Boomer, and I am perfectly comfortable with technology in general and the World Wide Web and social media in particular since I’ve been around it since before Millennials were even born. Not everyone in my generation, on the other hand, is as comfortable as I am. Having said that I can also see the issues with it as well. Social Media in particular has some very notable problems some of which have been pointed out on this thread. If your only defense is pointing out someone’s age and drawing assumptions from that I would suggest that you’re no better that Boomers that stereotype Millennials etc.

What the Bronco community needs are de-influencers; people to keep Bronco from becoming a cult following. It was a cult following that kept Jeep from making any meaningful improvements to their Wranglers for nearly 20 years. We don’t want that to happen to Ford. Would much rather see people calling Ford out for the ugly, while highlighting the good, to keep the company innovating.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

For those interested in the influencer culture, and the impact of social media in general, there are a few shows/movies you can watch. For example Hulu's Not OK is a nice comedic approach to showing some of the issues with influencer culture. If you want to see a good explanation about how social media works behind the scenes to push you into an infinite loop of sameness take a look at The Social Dilemma. The movie explains the AI behind your news feed in ways the ordinary person can understand.
