January 2022 Orders!

Welp I talked with the sales manager there and we built the st just like I wanted. List price was $61,920. He said I'll sell it to you at cost which is $59,734. Which turns out to be just under $2,200 off msrp. And I have this price on my order sheet that they emailed me so if they try to pull some shady stuff when it comes in I have it to get ford involved if need be.

So I said let's do it. Hopefully it'll actually go through and I'll have it in my possession in the next 90 days or less.

As much as I want a bronco I have no need for it. The power wagon I have now rarely see off road and i had an 05 gto before the wagon and really miss having a fast vehicle. Hopefully the ST satisfies that want.

Dang, sorry this happened to you. I have a couple of friends with Explorer ST's and they love them. Don't forget to take advantage of the Explorer ST Experience in Ashville NC or Park City UT, once you get yours. Personcally, I think this is a better deal than even the OffRoadeo, as a 1 night hotel stay, along with the driving course are included.

August 2020 reservation, November confirmation and still no scheduled build date. Changed from Badlands to Heritage two door with 6 cyl. I have a feeling its going to be a long wait.

This "game" has become so frustrating. I'm waiting it out and see what happens. If my Wildtrak doesn't get built for MY23, I'll regroup and see if I even want to try again for MY24. I hate to say it like that because I've been wanting/waiting for so long (almost 30 years) for Ford to build us a Bronco that nods to the original and I absolutely love what they did. I hope you get pulled for build soon!

Well, as of today, my order is still showing lux and he said the system wouldn't let him change it to anything else. I’m hoping this is good sign and maybe I’ll get pulled for scheduling soon. Not a stupid question at all, especially if you are still waiting. COVP is Customer Order Verification Process. Your dealer has to fill out some paperwork and submit it along with your drivers license to Ford. Ford will then accept it and then you are approved. Last week Ford announced that 28% of orders weren't COVP'd yet and after March 7th, those orders will be purged if they aren't COVP'd. If you aren't sure, call your dealer and make sure your order has went through the process. They are the only ones who can tell you if they did it or not. I tried contacting Ford about it to see if they knew on their end and they said I had to talk to my dealer. I did and he confirmed i was COVP'd in Oct when I converted my MY22 order to MY23. I hope this helps!

Got ya. I hope that mine would be ok because they made me submit my license when I originally placed my order last January, but I will definitely verify to make sure.

You'll want to make sure they did it again when you converted to MY23. As long as we've been waiting, I sure don't want something like this to get any of us cancelled.

Just saw over at the G6 forums that it's retail scheduling only this week. Fingers crossed for us still waiting!

Verified with the dealer that my order is still good today. Thanks again for the tip. I wonder if anyone will end up having the actual number left of legitimate orders after the deadline passes.

Fantastic! I'm glad you got that taken care of.

I think we'll get an update on numbers after the 7th passes, I'm thinking the following Tuesday (maybe?). Hopefully we'll see some big scheduling pushes shortly after the 7th. It will be interesting to see how many of those 28% non COVP'd orders go away. I don't want anyone to miss out on thier order so I'm hoping there are a lot of bogus orders making up that % that get cancelled, then maybe the rest of us can get what we ordered so long ago.

Anyone get an elusive VIN and scheduled build date? I'm seeing lots of Wildtrak's and builds with all the constraints getting scheduled on other forums and platforms. Nothing here for me though. I thought today may be the day but evidently not. I hope someone(s) here got some great news today.

Nothing for me. I have not seen any "sinful" Wildtraks in the 6G forum that were ordered after around late-ish October of '21. If there is any sort of justice in the time stamps, my math would tell me it might be May-June before we have a chance with our January '22 orders. That still gives me hope that I don't have to drop anything to get the Bronco I want. I might be waiting until July or so to think about dropping any features. I also want to see what the numbers look like after the 7th. Plenty of people are holding fast like myself, but plenty of others have compromised. We do know for sure that the line will be shorter after the 7th. Just no telling how much shorter. I am trying to be optimistic here!

I'm really hoping we get scheduled for MY23. I'm keeping my "sins" as well. I wish my dealer would tell me exactly where I fall in their allocations, all I'm getting is "we have the allocations, that's not a problem". I want to ask...but do you?!?! I'm also wondering if those scheduled today had their intent marked in the system? I have no idea if my dealer has mine marked or not :-( He said he was making a note in my file but when I call, it seems like he forgets most things we talked about (I'm doubting it's personal, I'm only dealing with 2 people at the dealership and he has who knows how many people he deals with).

I'm really looking forward to what the %'s and numbers are after the 7th too - I'm hoping it's good news.

Also, did you notice on the G6 forums the amount of folks that seemed shocked they got a build date and said they are letting the dealers have them because they already bought something else? Maybe it seemed like more that it really is because I'm bummed but dang, it pains me to see that, I'm like but if you had just cancelled then us waiting would have a chance!! Not getting scheduled on scheduling email day just sucks it out of me anymore, but I'm hanging in here!
