Hello Bronco Nation!

Thought I would start a thread for us who ordered January 2022. I figure it would be a great place to keep updated on movement with this order group!
I had a reservation in June of 21 but ended up getting cancelled. So I had a walk in order (no res) on January 3rd 2022! I ordered a 4dr black diamond 2.7 mid package hard top.

dealer told me 4-6 months (but we will see!!)

update: called the dealer 1/24 and was told I have a vin and build week 3/14! Hopefully it sticks

One thing I am wondering about is if we I get "Canceled" and forced to configure a '24 at '24 pricing, do I at least get to keep whatever spot I have in line? I might still take that over a configuration I didn't really want in the first place.

That's a good question. From the G6 forums, it sounds like Ford is going to cancel and wipe the slate clean for MY24, we'll all be jumping in line at the same time. I just can't bring myself to agree to something i don't really want. Who knows they may not even offer a Wildtrak next year, I've heard that rumor too! It's just not a good place for us Wildtak orders at all right now.

Also, i forgot to put in my last post, i never received the dreaded email. So I'm gonna let it ride and see what happens.

Good luck tomorrow! Not that you asked but...holding out for the Wildtrak is a fantastic idea. The ride on the MY23 with the Hoss 3.0 suspension is truly amazing. If you can get a build date...you WILL absolutely love it! Your Ford dealership should be working with their Ford sales representative to get you on the schedule...your dealership can move you to the front of their build line. For example, if you are one of the only Wildtrak orders at their dealership and they can get three Broncos scheduled this week...you should be one of the three because of the upcoming changes. Other orders can get built some other time. They just have to decide your build IS the priority for them. The Ford sales rep will work directly with the scheduler to get you in the mix.
4-dr Wildtrak, Lux pkg, MIC, Leather, A51, Heavy Duty Modular bumper, and roof rack. Ordered Feb 14, 2022. In production Nov 28, 2022. Built Nov 30, 2022. Shipped via rail December 6th. Acquired Dec 31. Just livin’ the dream.

I my order was the same in a 2dr. I dropped the lux to high and then when I asked my sales guy about allocations and where i was he said he didn't have that info. So i'm rolling the dice and seeing what happens. I'm not paying $50K plus for a Bronco i don't want. If i don't get built, I'll see what MY24 holds and go from there.
Your dealer knows exactly where you are on their list based on when you ordered. What they don't know is, what order MAP will pull the orders in. They go by what they can build when, based on parts availability and dealer allocations

When i spoke to the sales manager he kept telling me i should be picked up anytime for build and he was surprised I hadn't already been. Not sure if that was just to appease me or what. I'm holding out for what i want and it's that Wildtrak with Hoss 3.0. I just can't justify paying $50K for something i don't really want - BL, nonSAS. So I'll wait and bug the dealership from time to time to see what's going on. Hoping for a 2023 but my expectations are that of starting over with MY24, urgh!

I'm seeing folks posting in the BroncoG6 forums that schedule production emails are coming in. Anyone here hit the lotto and get one yet? So far nothing for me. Fingers crossed for everyone here!

Hoping some of us get good news tomorrow with scheduling.

I really hope so too! I would love to get some good news after the recent information, but it is very hard not to be pessimistic about it. At this point, I am afraid that Ford doesn't give a poop about our Wildtrak orders. Just this morning, I noticed the dealership that is on my route to work had at least two or three new Heritage editions on the lot with the white MIC beaming right at me. Nothing is being mentioned, that I have seen, about any supply constraint on white MIC tops that are standard on Heritage editions, but Ford says to Wildtrak folks who selected it as an option they are willing to PAY EXTRA for, that you better drop it or risk being cancelled.

They have already drawn the line in the sand and put us on notice that their SAS, LUX, and MIC materials are going to be put into vehicles that aren't price protected. They have made it clear that they have no empathy for us all waiting this long, so why use those parts on price protected vehicles when they can use them on vehicles with a current MSRP that is 5k + over what we ordered our vehicles at? I / we have absolutely no recourse or leverage in this situation when Ford has told us that not only will our order be cancelled, but the line will be wiped clean at the end of the model year and we will have to start completely over.

I placed my loaded Wildtrak order knowing full well about the supply issues, and that it might take 18 months or longer to be made. What I didn't expect was for Ford to take my order (also knowing what the supply chain looked like in January of 2022), and basically tell me I will most likely have to pound sand if I don't change my order to a slightly bigger Bronco Sport. Oh yeah, all of that while adding additional SKUs that are now taking priority over people who have waited longer instead of focusing on getting the orders out that they already had.

I feel the same way! I knew the wait would be long but i didn't expect to be told ohh you've waited this long, yeah we are cancelling you and good luck with placing a new order for 2024. I hope we both get ours built this year and can put it all behind us.

I did see in a BroncoG forum a few minutes ago a 4dr Wildtrak with Lux got a scheduled production email this morning for mid March. I chatted with Ford and i'm a no go this go around. Guess my lottery ticket wasn't lucky today -- maybe it's because i'm a 2dr, maybe it's because i dropped Lux for the high package, maybe it's just because - who knows!

We have movement! Got the VIN and a build date. Ordered 1/31. Base + Squatch + hard top + big engine + switches.
Wow, has my excitement waned.

Production week of 12/19/22...no update until 2nd week of January.
Got my shipping notification on 1/19/23. It's been sitting in a rail yard and still no idea of when it will get to my dealer.

I sold my vehicle due to the "imminent delivery" and am having to live with no car now for 2+ weeks. They have got to get better at managing expectations.

Update: The FAQ page is back up this morning!

For us all still waiting on a build date/VIN (or am I the only one here waiting now?) did you see the update that happened friday evening on build and price ? 2dr's are now $2000 more and 4dr's are a little less. All the Bronco's went up in pricing and the FAQ page for Bronco orders is just gone now. Who knows what that will actually mean if/when my 2dr Wildtrak gets built. Additional Private offer? Who knows! All i do know at this point is I hope I actually get my a Wildtrak this year. My dealer told me (i know i know) that there's no hold up on their end that would keep me from getting scheduled, they have the allocations and I'm a priority 10. Now it's up to Ford to pull it, come on Ford - you can do it!!

I am still here and waiting! I didn't think it would come to this, but I think I might end up compromising to the High from the LUX package, and soft top from MIC to hopefully get a build date soon. I still want to keep my Wildtrak with SAS though, and I am thinking I can explore after market hard tops down the road. With the pricing going up this much, I don't want to get cancelled, stuck and back at square 0 in November.

The thought of being canceled after this long of a wait makes me sick. I hope neither of us have to deal with that! I dropped lux to high, hoping that gets my Wildtrak built, only time will tell.

Ford and my dealer dropped the ball on my order. For one reason or another I never got any other communication from ford aside from the order received email. And thus never got the email telling me to convert my order or it would cancel. The dealer never called me to ask if I wanted to convert either. I find all this out when I called to inquire about this $2500 rebate to order something else.

Dealer claims he will make it right when I order my explorer st tomorrow. That's yet to be seen.

TLDR: My order got canceled and I didn't know about it. Dealer says he will make it right but who knows.

Welp I talked with the sales manager there and we built the st just like I wanted. List price was $61,920. He said I'll sell it to you at cost which is $59,734. Which turns out to be just under $2,200 off msrp. And I have this price on my order sheet that they emailed me so if they try to pull some shady stuff when it comes in I have it to get ford involved if need be.

So I said let's do it. Hopefully it'll actually go through and I'll have it in my possession in the next 90 days or less.

As much as I want a bronco I have no need for it. The power wagon I have now rarely see off road and i had an 05 gto before the wagon and really miss having a fast vehicle. Hopefully the ST satisfies that want.

I’m feeling pretty lucky after reading all these posts. I had no idea there were so many people waiting on their orders still!
I’m not sure if I got lucky because I ordered from a smaller dealership in southern Alberta, Canada.
But here are my order details:
ordered on October 17th,2022.
Production date at the end of January
built February 6th
shipped February 13th
estimated arrival February 26th
My build is:
2023 Outer Banks 2.3L, Lux, MIC top.
crossing my fingers that it gets here quickly with no hiccups. 🤞
Hope you guys get yours asap!
