Hello Bronco Nation!

Thought I would start a thread for us who ordered January 2022. I figure it would be a great place to keep updated on movement with this order group!
I had a reservation in June of 21 but ended up getting cancelled. So I had a walk in order (no res) on January 3rd 2022! I ordered a 4dr black diamond 2.7 mid package hard top.

dealer told me 4-6 months (but we will see!!)

update: called the dealer 1/24 and was told I have a vin and build week 3/14! Hopefully it sticks

So …..Ford chat give me this information. I have not received the email . My dealer confirmed that is the vin and build date. However order tracking shows still awaiting vin even though it shows vin assigned???? What does this mean

Glad I didn't put in my vacation time just yet. I plan on hitting up the beaches in the outer banks to break my bronco in. Only a 4 hour trip from my house and it's glorious there.

I think we are 3 hours from there, will be hitting it up as soon as I get mine also…. Waiting, waiting

Congratulations! That takes a load off your shoulders. I got the scheduling email about two weeks after chat gave me a VIN. The build tracker is pretty much worthless, too. Mine still shows order confirmed and nothing more -- and I got my VIN over a month ago!

I will tell you this: Chances are pretty good that you'll get bumped from that build week to another. I've been bumped numerous times now -- 8/29, 8/30/ 9/9, 9/12... I just contact chat once a week to see if my build date has changed, and so far it has changed every time I contact them. I'm sure there are a few lucky ones who don't get bumped, but many do. I think what happens is MAP doesn't meet its production goal for a day, which moves others further into the future. The bright side is that the VIN is year specific, so we'll get MY22's. I'm pretty sure MY23's start down the line at the end of October.

Today I decided to call the FMC customer service line, to inquire about what I should expect, as far as direct communication from ford. Was told that once I have been assigned a spacific day, I would be contacted directly from ford. I replied, that I was told that I was given the date of Sept 27th, from the dealer as a production date. She said that the date I was given is a forecasted date but I have not actually been assigned an actual date yet. Have a vin # but no window sticker. Tracker still shows shows order received.

Any thoughts on this?

What does the process look like going forward, from the time an order is picked up, until the vehicle is actually built?

What should I expect, if anything, from ford in regards to communication, between now and the actual build day?

Honestly not much. I got my vin from ford chat and didn’t receive an email with that or the scheduled production week until a few weeks later. Since then I haven’t received anything from Ford, it has gone into production, but no new emails stating that, I only know because I obsessively check the tracker and does chat. Still waiting for the built email and tracker to update, I’ve been in production since the week of 8/12. My window sticker showed up a week before the 12th, and again I only found that after checking the order tracker app.

I was able to get the scheduled for production info and VIN through the phone number on July 27th, then got the email on July 29th that it was scheduled. Showed ‘in production’ on August 18th and built the 28th. Expect little to no communication.

It sounds correct. I am surprised they told you an actual build date though. I received a projected build week of 9/5 with no actual build date given. And the time it takes to build will probably vary wildly

Same boat mine says confirmed and scheduled date of sept 26th . Although I have not got an email either

I saw that the white is for the HE's and HLE's only and the shadow black is late availability too. I was trying to hold out for the painted top but thinking i'm just staying with the MIC and if it gets close to summer next year and I haven't gotten a VIN, maybe change my order then. It feels like it could easily get pushed to MY24 when i see "late availability".

The email stated further down though that they could not provide a spacific day yet. It said in the coming couple weeks I should get an additional email with a spacific day.

I see everyone who has been scheduled posting screen grabs of it saying when their bronco is scheduled for. I know mine is scheduled for September 12 (originally September 2 but I got bumped) but I want to know how can I see this information on the online tracker? Are their other sites that track your bronco? I have been using the Ford tracker and it just says “order confirmed” but when I do ford chat they give me a date. I would like to track mine without having to use the chat every time.

Update on this tracker.

SO, when I use the order tracker link sent to me in my FMC email, that shows scheduled for production, I get "order confirmed" still. WTH!!
The right hand just doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing.
