Hello Bronco Nation!

Thought I would start a thread for us who ordered January 2022. I figure it would be a great place to keep updated on movement with this order group!
I had a reservation in June of 21 but ended up getting cancelled. So I had a walk in order (no res) on January 3rd 2022! I ordered a 4dr black diamond 2.7 mid package hard top.

dealer told me 4-6 months (but we will see!!)

update: called the dealer 1/24 and was told I have a vin and build week 3/14! Hopefully it sticks

Why are there no Bronco reservation holders getting October 2022 builds yet? Thought FMC had 3 weeks in October to build 2022 models. Ordered my BB on1/25/22, 2 dr. auto/cyber orange and still clean/unscheduled as of this morning. Have seen March 2022 orders with September build dates. Seems like most of the upscale Broncos are getting built now for the rest of 2022.

Show of hands of January orders not schedule with a vin??? It’s so disheartening to see the other forms May, April March posting pics of the broncos in the driveway. Ford needs to focus on order dates not bullshit allocation

Ordered On 1-8-22 Outer Banks w/ lux package and no hitch. Have a production week of 9-05-22, just received an email with vin.

Why would you not have price protection? . I ordered on 1/29/22 dealer order . Mine did not raise mid year , also was under the impression we was price protected

I have no confirmation of it, but I read that those who placed their initial orders for MY22 are only price protected for the two midyear MSRP increases in 2022 IF THEY TAKE DELIVERY OF A MY22, and if they are bumped to MY23, then they pay full MY23 MSRP. Obviously those who placed orders before March 19, 2021 still have full price protection. I guess this will be answered soon enough.

I was told by ford that if you don’t modify your order, you get price protection. My dealer didn’t know, and said if I heard it from Ford it must be true. Hot mess!

I'm keeping my Bronco base 22 going into a 2023, but I will lose the cyber/orange paint option. I plan on adding a few more options to my base...will this 'change' my order enough to lose my place in production line?

I got bumped from the week of 8/29 to the week of 9/5 as well. The actual build day is 9/9 -- if it holds.

Glad I didn't put in my vacation time just yet. I plan on hitting up the beaches in the outer banks to break my bronco in. Only a 4 hour trip from my house and it's glorious there.

Thanks! I was on vacation for a week and a half while it sat at the railhead. It finally got dropped at the dealer overnight last night...they had no idea it was coming either. lol

Got the “scheduled for production” email with my VIN in it on July 29. Ordered 1/31. Tracking has said “in production” since the first week of august but now there is a date of 8/18 under the words “in production” on the little timeline and the other tracker shows 8/17 as my blend date… dealer called and said delivery is 9/11.. Meanwhile, I keep watching my trade value drop in this crazy market.

Can’t complain, many have it worse, but it is very confusing!

Got the email from my dealer stating if it isn't scheduled, it's being bumped to model year 23. I've got a base-squatch-2.7 ordered on 1/31. Said I'd have to reorder in September. Price protection better be there.....he couldn't explain it well enough to make me feel like it was. Rural TN dealers isn't where you go to understand details...lol.

It's shipped! Now I am anxiously waiting to get the thing! I have the 1 inch Rough Country kit, Fuel Rebel 6 rims and tires ready to go. Cannot wait!

If I knew 100% that I would have gotten price protection, I'd have hoped to get a MY23 instead of a VIN. I was in no hurry to get my Bronco.

My dealer seemed confident that 22s will be offered price protection but she could be guessing as well... But my question is will we get price protection on Broncos that have less features/ options because of supply chain issues. We know we're losing sat nav and already lost the climate control temp displays. What else will be removed while we pay the same price as a 22 that actually has those lost features?
