New Colors and Trims for Bronco
Neptune Blue, a color shared with other Ford vehicles like the 2027 Bronco Sport and Super Duty, joins as an option. And with the addition of Bronco Filson and Bronco Filson First Edition Package, two more hues, Field Green Metallic and the First Edition’s Iron Sands Copper Metallic, will be seen on the road in 2027.

Velocity Blue Metallic owners, cherish yours a little more. The color, an option since the sixth-generation Bronco launch, retires with the 2026 model year.
The Stroppe Edition, first introduced as a 2-door for 2025, then a 4-door for 2026, also closes out its chapter, but the legacy of the legendary racer lives on.
Also gone is the 60th Anniversary Package for Outer Banks, since we're no longer in its celebration year, and the Free Wheeling Package for Big Bend has become a relic of the past once again.
A New Bronco Engine Option for 2027
Until now, the majority of Bronco trims could be ordered with the 4-cylinder 2.3L or the 6-cylinder 2.7L EcoBoost engine.
The Bronco Raptor was the first to deviate, with its 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft. of torque, 6-cylinder 3.0L EcoBoost. Bronco Filson was the next trim announced to be earning the power plant as standard, with an application-specific tune.
The 2027 model year Bronco puts the 2.7L to rest and makes the 3.0L even more accessible. Outer Banks, 4-door Badlands, and Heritage can be optioned with it, moving owners up to 380 horsepower and 440 lb-ft. of torque.
New Seating | Outer Banks and Badlands
For some owners, the ability to get Broncos muddy inside and wipe them clean is a non-negotiable, making the Marine Grade Vinyl (MGV) the perfect seating choice. And for the first time, Badlands gains a power-adjustable MGV seat. Added across the series is a unique, topographical pattern option.
Outer Banks SUVs equipped with Lux Package have a new option as well, a premium vinyl with a textured design, replacing the standard leather. Cloth seats are available for the trim with Mid Package.
Mid-Package Upgrade Plus Tech Updates and Changes
It's not just the powertrain becoming more accessible. The available heated steering wheel joins Mid Package-equipped Big Bend models, a welcome update with the new model year.
All trims gain the 5G modem, up from 4G, as standard.
The B&O sound system moves from 12 speakers to 10, including the subwoofer, on Outer Banks and 4-door Badlands with the Lux Package. Bronco Raptor keeps 12, and Bronco Filson follows suit.
