Here's the first of a series of articles diving in to the FordPass Performance app. It's a pretty cool feature of the 2021 Ford Bronco and we can't wait for you to see all the details.

Any update?

Well I've been away in Texas for the last couple days for Ladies' Day, so I haven't gotten to hear about it yet, but the plan is for my Bronco to come back tomorrow night.

Well I've been away in Texas for the last couple days for Ladies' Day, so I haven't gotten to hear about it yet, but the plan is for my Bronco to come back tomorrow night.

I'm interested to see how they tackle this when and if it ever arrives.

I appreciate this information being shared but I wish it was made clear that "FordPass Performance App is one of the most fascinating features of most versions the 2021 Ford Bronco " to make it clear it isn't available for "all" versions of the bronco.

In theory it’s for all Bronco’s with High or Lux packages right?

The blog says it's for the Mid and above packages. So it doesn't work with the base package.

You would think that for as long as they have had to work on it that they would have gotten closer than that. Why not just buy GAIGPS or OnX and modify it to integrate with the camera's on the Bronco? Seems like that would be faster/easier than trying to reinvent the wheel.

You would think that for as long as they have had to work on it that they would have gotten closer than that. Why not just buy GAIGPS or OnX and modify it to integrate with the camera's on the Bronco? Seems like that would be faster/easier than trying to reinvent the wheel.

That or open up the API's and 'encourage' 3rd party apps to integrate

It was supposed to be available by now. It's been delayed a number of times already and it's still not generally available. @Laura seems to have a pre-release version, and she indicated that it still needed work.

It was supposed to be available by now. It's been delayed a number of times already and it's still not generally available. @Laura seems to have a pre-release version, and she indicated that it still needed work.

Our IT director tested it on my Bronco; I wasn't around to experience it, but yes, he said it was still in progress.

@Laura any update here? Could there be an opportunity for members, maybe the ones that have been looking forward to this since the video was published about it here on 3/1/21, to Beta test? This app has taken longer to build than my Bronco itself. Is Shane Coloney still leading this program?
