No scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX

Just received this email from Ashlie at Chapman Ford in regards to my order. Looks like to be considered for scheduling you have to drop the hardtop, Sasquatch package and LUX package if you have them in your build.

UPDATE: There are pretty big discussions going on over on B6G about this. Ashlie herself has made a few replies. And many others have confirmed this information.

Hi…

Hope all is well! Unfortunately, Ford has made us aware that customers with orders that have hardtops/LUX pkg/Sasquatch pkg will need to modify their order to drop these items for scheduling consideration.

If these changes are made by January 21st, Ford claims they will be issuing a certificate/private offer to the customer.

According to the information we received, if the changes are not made and the order flips to the new model year, Ford’s price protection program will expire.

At this time, we do not have definitive information on the certificate amount or how it will affect Ford’s price protection certificates…

We appreciate your patience and understanding…please let us know how you would like to proceed

I also have all of these and got a window sticker with a blend date of 1/17

This only applies to thousands of unscheduled allocations.

I have a Heritage on order but recently decided to switch to a WT. I'm a current day one reservation holder, guess this may not be my best interest now as I do not have a build date. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Wait until the official announcement is made next week. If you want to switch from a Wildtrak and drop Sasquatch, MIC Top and the Luxury package, the current rumor is that you will get a rebate for switching.

If the rumors are true, then you are more likely to get your Heritage build scheduled for MY2023 than a Wildtrak (since Sasquatch tires are a huge constraint this year).

When Ford makes an official announcement next week, it should give you a better idea of what your options will be for MY2023.

Yeah. 2DR OBX here. 608 days since original order. Small town dealer. Dropped constrained items awhile back. Really wondering what all of this means for me. There’s a Wrangler Willys on my Jeep dealer’s lot that has everything I want. Might finally be time to jump. 😢

We were at the STL Auto show this weekend and i didn't see a single thing there I wanted. Urgh! I just want my 2dr Wildtrak.

That came from the admin of that group that works for Ford and was apparently in on the Friday meeting. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow but some things posted on Facebook and the internet in general are factual.

Just says "another source from facebook" doesn't say Ford anywhere. Maybe it is maybe it isn't. Not all Ford folks have been very informed either.

Big problem is the confusion they are creating with the MIC Top and the 2 doors. Also that document doesn't specify the constraints clearly. Just kinda hints they are the MIC top, Sasquatch and Lux.

so does this mean you have to modify your order if you have any of these constraints or the combo of all 3? I have non-sas black diamond with hardtop on order. I really don’t want a soft top. I was a walk in order last March.
