The tagline of my city is “Where Living is a Vacation.” That alone might be enough to tell you Michigan residents think highly of our natural beauty. And while Bronco Nation won’t be camping in Lake Orion for the Woodward Dream Cruise long weekend, we will be in an equally peaceful and pretty setting not far off. Come camp with us August 18-21!
Camping Details
Bronco Basecamp will be set up at Groveland Oaks (14555 Dixie Highway, Holly, MI, 48442), August 18-21.
We’ve reserved a group camping area, and we’re inviting Bronco Nation members to stay with us at no charge (vehicle pass required for park entry). Email us at [email protected] if you would like a space.
Besides a place for you and your family to stay, we will be providing breakfast and coffee on Friday and Sunday as well dinner on Friday night. Our Motor City Miler will leave from Basecamp on Friday, and Holly Oaks ORV Park is 3 minutes away for off-roading.

Groveland Oaks Highlights
I’ve been to the campground several times now and have been impressed with the towering sweet pines, sandy beach, and quiet wooded grounds with a small creek running by the back of our section.
The spacious sites in our group area all feature 20/30 amp electricity and water nearby. Two vehicles are allowed per site and a maximum of two tents or one camper/one tent. In addition to portable bathrooms within our camping area, the campgrounds feature full bathhouses with showers, laundry, and concessions.
It’s a perfect setting for families, and we encourage you to bring yours: Groveland Oaks has miniature golf, a skate park, multiple large playgrounds, a bike skills course, basketball and volleyball courts, plus fishing, boat rentals, and a clean, soft-sand beach. There is also two miles of paved and grass trails to enjoy.
It’s going to be a busy couple of days with our drives, off-roading, stops at Fair Lane/MAP/World Headquarters, and of course, the Dream Cruise itself, but there’s not a more perfect place to come “home” to each night. Email us to reserve your mini vacation spot with Bronco Nation!
