Hello!
I am new to the Bronco; I finally bought one this week. So, I am still new and figuring out what I want to do, but for the moment.

  • Change out the antena
  • Paint Protection
  • Molle panels
  • Mats
  • Steel Rear Bumper
  • Interior Lighting
  • Fog Lights

Congrats! I just picked mine up on the 22nd of April, I`m in the same boat!

A model T can still drive down the street..... I will pick IFS even for crawling.... A lot of the Buggies are starting to go that way.

Ever see what happens to ifs with a plow?
You do it your way I'll do it mine.

Plowing can be hard on a vehicle. You are asking a lot of it.... You will find guys that swear the IFS is junk and will not hold up and you can find guys that swear the IFS is every bit as good as the SA.... Just rides better.... Every vehicle is different and designed for different loads. Other than maybe an occasional small blade for a driveway I would not be putting a plow on a bronco. Not built for it.

It is all about using the right tool for the job. Don't be using a set of pliers when a box end is the correct tool. IFS... if built for it will hold up fine with a plow, and a solid axle will fall apart if not built for the load.

I've got a few mods in the works. I'm waiting for a few things to arrive: new wheels, the 2.7L V6 Performance Pack, a BYODR, and a D-Handle. Future items include a front and rear dash cam, and as @Jakob1972 mentioned, more lighting... The Bronco needs more lighting EVERYWHERE.

I'm also considering the Goose Gear flat flooring solution since I don't need rear seats. More Molle panels would come in handy as well. If I get ambitious, I may spring for an on-board fridge, but a kegerator doesn't seem like a good idea. 😜

Hey Chris, go with the pony keg. Dual use…air inflation and beer! 60/40 split tank…beer to air ratio… Toggle switch for beer or air…run refrigerant system to cool the air and beer…just don’t get so drunk that you fill your tires with beer…I may or may not have thought about this🤣

Always had issues with the camber on those... I understood the Idea, trying to take the positive attributes of both the solid axle and mate it with the positive attributes of IFS.... but the reality just seemed to fall more into the negative attributes of each.

I had it on my Ranger STX. I tought it was a great setup and tough as nails. The stuff I did with the STX would fold-up the Euro-pretzel front end on the Bronco. LOL.

Yup add a plow and it's even worse.
My first experience with those was bad. My buddy at local dealer had one come in that had the pivot worn so bad it couldn't be bushed. He asked me to bore the holes so they could have a sleeve welded in, I did it but swore I'd never own one.

I like your thought process! It has merit. Necessity is the mother of invention. 🤪
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Most of what I have gotten and will get, focus around protecting what I’ve got. Waiting for my Ford Performance rear differential cover to arrive and then looking at the differential skid from Foutz Motor sports. And then maybe a transmission skid from RCI.

Not sure why you would own a bronco if that is how you truly feel the IFS design should be described.... Personally I do not think any of the twin I Beam front suspensions I have owned hold a candle to this IFS.... Is the front suspension of the bronco G6 the strongest ever built? No... But it sure seems adequate for my needs and it handles significantly better than any other design. I have to admit that the Watts track bar would greatly improve the over all handling eliminating the bump steer from the back end but it also has vulnerabilities out in the rocks and complicates things right around the diff cover.... but there are pros and cons to everything. EVERYTHING is a compromise. ANYTHING ever made by man will be.

Please keep us posted! I purchased (but have not installed) a Pedal Commander BEFORE anything was known to me about the Pedal Monster. I like what I have seen posted about the Pedal Monster and may go that way, selling the Pedal Commander along the way.

I've read some reviews about the Pedal Commander "possibly" causing some electrical power disruption issues, generating numerous error codes and throttle failures. Also, there is no REVERSE gear safety failsafe. Not Bueno. I like the look of the Pedal Monster and if purchased separately, the dash gauge looks good but negative points for the $500 plus price point if purchased together....😡😡😡

I gotta say that having the OEM skid plates on Nag gives me great peace of mind. I have been pretty impressed with all of the OEM skids. And having crawled around underneath, I would definitely recommend having a gas tank skid of any kind whether they are OEM or aftermarket.

I am embarrassed to say I have a Sasquatch Outer Banks (2023) and don;t know whether I have a fuel tank skid or not…. Tomorrow’s project underneath….

EDIT:.. just checked, and nothing protecting the fuel tank… might be my next purchase…
Recommendations?

That is pretty much what I got from strolling through the internet, causing me to stand down on an install of the Pedal Commander. Thank you for the info!
