SFA option
It seems Jeep will check the boxes for you
V6 and manual transmission, as well as the SFA…

Unfortunately for 2024 the naturally aspirated engine is not available (from what I read)

There are applications for a SFA, such as a plow and crawling.

I've got a few mods in the works. I'm waiting for a few things to arrive: new wheels, the 2.7L V6 Performance Pack, a BYODR, and a D-Handle. Future items include a front and rear dash cam, and as @Jakob1972 mentioned, more lighting... The Bronco needs more lighting EVERYWHERE.

I'm also considering the Goose Gear flat flooring solution since I don't need rear seats. More Molle panels would come in handy as well. If I get ambitious, I may spring for an on-board fridge, but a kegerator doesn't seem like a good idea. 😜
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

A model T can still drive down the street..... I will pick IFS even for crawling.... A lot of the Buggies are starting to go that way.

Slide in/out tilt down mount for my spare tire with a rear seat in folded position.... Would consider with a rear seat delete....

You did say wish list and not ask what was I doing next right? Because that next list is really long and I have not got this one designed out yet while I am working on the rest.....

We're here for the long lists haha! Thank you for the feedback :)

Have you checked out Heretic's new interior lighting offer? A great option to help fix the low light issues if that's a type of lighting you're looking for!

I'm on my 2nd Bimini/Bikini top. I loved the J-Tops mesh one, until monsoons hit. And now I'm hating how difficult the 2nd one is, which is a 100mph bimini/bikini. They said you can leave it on when the soft top is on. But didn't explain that there are 2 bolts on each side that have to be removed and then reinserted to hold the front corners on to do this. And it is just way too tight for 1 person to do this. When we tried to flip back the soft top in Moab, it was impossible to pull the top back up to secure the front corners. I put my top all the way down last night and we got the corners all secured. But I have to leave it that way now until the end of summer - I don't have enough time to fight it. So I will be looking for a 3rd one and I've only had my Bronco for 2 1/2 years.

Also, those mesh storage things on the doors....yeah, they do stretch out. So, I need to replace them.

May be looking into more skid plates underneath.

Oh, and windshield protective film that has ceramic in it. Yep, got a huge crack while in Moab. So, I want to have protection ready to go on when I replace the windshield.

And I will need new tires. Convinced 35's are as big as I need or want (but dang, 37s sure look good!). But I don't want to go with territorials. BFG's KM3's won't be available in my size until August 2025. So, KM2's, class E (10 ply) maybe what I go with.

1. Roof rack - most likely a Trailrax w/ Pakrax
2. rear bumper upgrade - Addictive Desert Design bomber bumper
3. A Piller Lights - set of Rigid D Series Pros spot and flood
4. Dometic CFX45 cooler/fridge
5. Midland GRMS radio MXT575 - purchased just not installed yet.
6. Better interior lighting - probably the Mabett LED ceiling/dome lights
7. Method Bead Grip rims w/ MT Boss Baja ATs ( need snow rated for where I live)
8. Decent fire extinguisher and smaller portable first aid kit. Have a hard case kit, but would like something I could mount to a molle panel.
9. Molle Panels in the rear and on center console. Mounts 2 metal probably.

That's all I can think of right now or is on my current list.

My next modification will probably be adding some protection to either the rear shock mounts or lower control arms. I'm going to do a little "scrape" inspection to see where I made contact after last weekend's fun. I also have some HDPE that I need to attach to the transmission cross-members. Oh, and I need to decide on what mount I'm going to use for the dune flag. I'm thinking of using a lightpod mounting bracket where the rearview mirrors go. That should give it plenty of height, keep the flag away from body contact, and also keep it out of the way of video we take with the GoPro.

My spring list-

Finally installing the compressor with the AGS mount in the back.
Relocating an antenna mount to the rear at the same time.
Armorlite washout floor
Simplifying some of my pocket and driving light wiring up front.

After that-

I would like to do boss links up front on the sway bar I think. Folks dont seem to be liking the manual disconects very much.

Probably new tires this summer- Im at 32K on mine and they are starting to get a little raggedy. Probably Mickey Baja Bosses I think. And if im gonna do that, why not new wheels too.

After that probably skid plates.

I mean these things are never done, but thats my plan

Okay... current to do list (already have the parts though)
Diff cover (Ford Performance with the drain plug and heavier cast housing)
Diff and axle skid.... DV8... liked a couple others better as a skid but this is the only one that extended over the axle tube which I am trying to strengthen... customizing the skid to help truss the tube from the bottom.
shock and trailing arm skids...DV8 installing these and diff cover and diff skid this weekend
Upper and lower trailing arms and pan hard.... Core 4x4 crawler series.... Maybe get started this next week...
Tie Rods... RPG double shear hiem joint tie rods. Need to install right after trailing arms so I can get an alignment.
4 color hideaway strobe lights... 8 of these. 4 for front and 4 for rear. Intended as chase lights. They are a 6 lead light and will take considerable time to wire and synchronize...

That is the parts I have sitting waiting to be installed...

Next orders of parts will be a Barnes axle truss and Next Venture skids and rock lights have not decided on brand of those yet.

What kind of accessories are you currently eyeing for your Bronco? Whether it's off-road essentials, interior upgrades, or exterior mods, share your wishlist with us.

Have a great week!

In hand or installed, in no particular order: Turbosmart Blow off Valve; Go Rhino Electric Running Board; Mabett Lighted Trail Markers; Tackform Dashboard Mount, Dash Clip (with various 20 mm ball and phone arm/bracket combos); Baja Designs S1 Dual Reverse Light Kit, Squadron Pro A-Pillar Light Kit; VR Tuned ECU Tuning Kit; Pedal Commander; Mishimoto Catch Can; Red Rock Rear Differential Skid Plate; RokBlokz Mudflaps.
I am looking to install (in no particular order) a Crawltek winch capable rear bumper (and winch); some front push bars (like the ones used on police cruisers) that fit the standard Ford Capable Bumper (may change it out, depending on different variables); shock (front/rear) and trailing arm skid plates; a decent dash cam and possibly a sound system upgrade.

I have been eyeing the Pedal Monster for a few weeks now and have done some research/ comparisons with the other brands. I like what I hear about this throttle controller product and will pull the trigger on this sometime in May/2024.

Please keep us posted! I purchased (but have not installed) a Pedal Commander BEFORE anything was known to me about the Pedal Monster. I like what I have seen posted about the Pedal Monster and may go that way, selling the Pedal Commander along the way.
