Looking for information on how I find where the wiring is located to all of the Auxiliary Switches on my 2024 Bronco Badlands with the Sasquatch package. I can not find any information in my owners manual about where the wiring is located to connect accessories to the switches. I see where the fuses are located in the fuse box but no information about where the wires are dead ended. If anyone has a wiring diagram or link to where the wiring is located to all 6 switches, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks! I have tried to do a search on the screen as well as on the manual I have on my FordApp with no success. It’s probably because I’m typing the wrong information to search .

Good video! I'm thankful for Ford's accessory-friendly wiring, trim & fasteners. Bronco's 6 Aux switches & ignition hot wiring have been very handy. Currently, we have 3 Auxs powering bumper SAE drivers & fogs and A-pillar lights, 1 Aux for an option to turn-on our interior lighting, and 1 Aux for our mobile 2-way radio. Thank you Ford!!

Cheers

In my 2023 manual the Aux switches start on page 522-525.

This graphic really helped me.

It basically says:
- you can connect directly to B1, B2, C
- but if you want to power D or E, you must jump it at the glove box to B1 or B2

The Ford video posted above covers most of the rest

Here is a few pictures of the manual I have, which is of no real use unfortunately .

It still doesn’t make sense to me. Those wires don’t seem heavy enough gauge to run lights in their own. Do you not have to run a relay, and just use the AUX switch wire to close the relay? Which in turn powers the light?

Look up “ohms law” and do the math for current draw then look up max amps per wire gauge. Formula fairly simple…. Short version below but using this you can figure out current draw or wattage on circuits. Recommend watching vids to get better explanation.

E=IxR
R=E~I
I=R~R
P=IxE

E is volts
I is current
R is resistance
P is wattage

Is that the scientific way of saying yes, it’s big enough? Lol

LOL - Yeah, great to have an EE on BN - Thanks Chief! I had a similar impression while connecting several thin Aux wires, but their fuse protection seems pretty robust for our LED lights & 15W Midland radio. These accessories run fine, haven't noticed any power issues.

So since these started delivery, there have been some issues with wiring. Depending on what you are installing and how it is being wired, it will make a difference as to melting the wires. My Heretic bumper lights have their own wiring harnesses and are heavy enough to carry the load they are drawing. Same goes for my installed compressor and my interior dome light kit. The auxiliary switches are just that, switches. They interrupt the flow of the electricity. I would not run the power through the provided wires behind the glove box or even the wires running from the cargo area to the front, unless it is something well below the rated wire capacity. I know that @SlashRacer installed a roof mounted light bar and ran it through the provided wire behind the glove box and it started to melt the wire. He then ran a separate heavier gauge wire and solved the problem. Most of the companies that we are purchasing items from have appropriate wiring diagrams, harnesses and installation videos that will steer you around any of these issues.

That’s exactly what my thought process was. So I’m going to err on the safe side and use relays, power from the battery, and the AUX to power the relay.

I redid the wire to my light bar. I ran 10 gauge wire and a 30 amp fuel pump relay for my light bar. Aux 1 switch now energizes the relay for the light bar.

The digital manual on your touchscreen shows everything.

Couple of words of caution.

Don’t listen to the YouTube hacks about drilling a hole in your bronco for running a wire to your light bar.

Run a 10 garage wire from your battery to the light bar and install a 30 amp relay.

Here is a good video on how to wire in a light bar.

If I remember correctly, Heretic updated their installation video once the issues came up.
