Why did you choose your model of bronco?

I knew from the begging what I wanted and would never take any less. I wanted a 2 door stick shift. Yes that was all I wanted when I considered my build. This was two years ago when my friend told me they were going to bring the bronco back. We spent the time up to the release date thinking of what it would actually looked like. I knew as soon as I could choose a model which model I would chose. The Black Diamond model was the name l like due to I like snow sking. I still wanted the stick but then I found out you could only have it in the 4 Banger. I was okay still hated that I could not get the 6 but still wanted that stick so back. When I went to actually build Or practice build my bronco I found out what things I was loosing with keeeping my stick. So what all that said I eventually chose the black diamond with the mid package automatic with the aluminium wheels. I chose this because if had the seats I wanted, the flooring I wanted, the bumpers, rock rails, and bash plate. This bronco will be my skinig partner we will have loads of adventures. So I was wonderin what was the reason everyone chose their bonrco. Look forword to being educated on the options and fine point I may have missed. My bronco is ordered and in about 10 days Ford will close out orderin6 and I will start to get really excited!!!!!!

I suspect you are correct. I'm sure there will be lots of people with grand plans to take their rigs on off road adventures just to let apathy and life get in the way. And as far as I'm concerned, that's ok! Even if someone never takes their's off-road, as long as they are enthusiastic about Broncos, they are welcome members of the community.

You don't have to take your Mustang to the track to be part of the Mustang community :) .
That’s strait up fact.
I posted somewhere the other day that “every build is important”
Our kids and grandkids will find these
trailer babies ,barn finds, all original one owners, family hand me downs.
IMO we are all buying classics.

Black Diamond
4 door Area 51 - Black Diamond, Mid Pkg, Tow Pkg, 2.3L, Automatic, Advanced 4x4, Paint Protection. $44k
*not to throw the thread off track but....

$44k

Was wondering about price on the Bronco.
This seems outstanding!

If buyers could actually see them drive and buy same day....
Pricing would be/will be attractive. Pulling customers from jeeps already on lots..

Wonder if BRONCO will ever be on a dealer lot available for purchase....
Or will they always be order only?

My buddy 14U has these two old ski chairs. I am gonna wait till he goes out of town and take one and weld a stinger on it. So when I go the mountains I have place to sit and change my boots.

My original plan was BB or BD with manual and mid pkg :(

It will be my DD with weekends at the beach in Jersey. I have never been off-roading.

Well... in order to keep the stick shift... and get a tech package... I had to go Badlands... so...

2 dr Badlands
MIC w/ sound deadening
MGV
High pkg
2.3 / Manual
Antimatter Blue

Now I'm thinking I want to learn how to use it... found a place in PA that looks promising... they offer beginner classes and trails.

You should definitely plan to take advantage of the Off-Roadeo experience as well.

While I'd love to say I'm going to be using it as intended (off-roading), I'm buying it as a daily driver. I want a cool, fun car where I can take the top (and doors!) off and enjoy the SoCal weather. So...

2-dr Outer Banks
2.3L /automatic
Leather Trim
High package
Cyber Orange (!!!)

My only issue is that I don't like the body-colored fender flares of the OB, and will probably be switching them out asap.

The MGV and washout floors were a want, however, the manual was my primary "need to have" item. Mrs. Bronc really wanted heated seats so BL it is...

Badlands 2 dr
Velocity Blue, MIC top
2.3 w/manual trans
Mid Pkg
Floor Liners, cargo mat
Bimini Top (prob use my FordPass pts)

Still on the fence for Sasquatch (really want the 35s but trying to keep the cost in check), tow pkg, sound deadening HL. I am holding out for MY22 so I have some time to change. I might say screw it and go back to Base ManSquatch and load up with available options which still comes in right at my original budget ceiling of $40k.

If I end up not going Squatch I definitely will swap out the BL wheels and like the Method 315s to pair up with 35" BFG KO2s.

As you can see decisions are tough for me, lol. :)

Sorry- Im a little late to the party on this (I had to do work at my real job)

My order is for a Wildtrak. Here's how I got there.

I initially wanted a 2 door with the seven speed. However, I have small kids and a big dog, so the four door is the model that made the most sense for that. Also because it gets cold in the desert in the winter, I knew I wanted the full hard top, and I thought the shadow black painted modular one was the better of the two for my application (my dog is already looking forward to hanging his head out the gunner's hatch). I will also be replacing my daily driver, so I really wanted the heated seats and wheel. I have a long drive and those kind of things make a difference so Lux package it is.

I was all set to go Badlands, but then I saw the king of hammers videos. All the turn control and tricks you get with the 6 and auto changed my mind. When I spec'd the badlands on the website with all that garbage vs the wildtrak, the wildtrak was the better deal- it came with a lot of my wants already. With the terrain around here, I will do more desert driving than rock crawling so the Sway bar disconnect (while really trick) was not a deal breaker.

Since I was going wild track with all the black accents, I really wanted something to make that stand out, so Iconic Silver it is.

Now, since I will be a '22, this is all subject to change. I want to see what this Heritage edition is all about, the green, and maybe even the hybrid (especially if it is the 3.0 hybrid from the Aviator, that drivetrain is a beast!). But if not, I think that will be a pretty cool set up.

I must be the only person in the world who ordered a base!
2dr 2.3L 7 speed. Carbonized gray. Keeping it simple and cost down. I’m thinking there will be a ton of aftermarket stuff available and I’m fine with swapping parts if I see something I like. Don’t eat me alive.

You are not alone! That's the exact same as my order, right down to the color. I added overhead auxiliary switches, roof rails, kayak carrier, and mesh bimini top. With Granger's October special pricing, the total is less than $29k.

I initially wanted Badlands for the off-road capabilities, but I couldn't justify the added cost. I'm excited to build up a Base for the following reasons:
  • The accessories list has a 4.70 ratio ring and pinion for the M190 front axle as well as the rear, which will be a cheap (+/- $750) upgrade if I do it myself. If I want even lower gears, there are options for upgrading the front axle & driveshaft to the M210, with gears as low as 5.38 (hopefully with lockers).
  • The Ford Performance off-road suspension/leveling kit should come in around $1500, which should let me fit at least 33" tires, which I'll buy as replacements when the originals wear out.
  • I'll probably keep the factory steel wheels and paint them black.
  • I'll buy rock rails, steel bumpers, and upgraded bash plates aftermarket, or possibly build my own.

4dr wildtrak
Rapid Red

Tow package
Side steps
Have two young children and and two new pups plus the wife wanted to be able to drive it so manual was not an option. Heated seats and steering wheel are essentially a must in Minnesota. Won’t be doing any rock crawling so I was looking for something with power and could run the best at higher speeds. My brother in Texas orders a 4 door wildtrak in A51 as well b
