I've got the same lights but just the single mount. Do you have a plan for the second mounting location?

Hit up Pismo as soon as you can, as they're closing the dunes there indefinitely for ecological restorations, which are usually 10+ years.

I finally got around to installing my “Custom” Rough Country Tailgate Reinforcement.

Of course, I welded on a Rotopax bracket.

I am overall happy with this - I will be changing out the supplied hardware as soon as I can hit an Ace Hardware for some stainless, the supplied hardware seems to be lacking in finish quality.

The WeBoost Antenna is mounted to a JL CB Mount (yes, It fits perfect!).

Now I just need the Rotopax lock and a can, was considering the black Rotopax box for recovery gear there.

I modified my Jeep JK tailgate table to fit my bronco and mounted it with riv nuts.

I colored the letters of my cargo drawer

I installed two rigid ditch lights and my radio antenna. I use the four wheel parts brackets although I’m unhappy with them given they have a lot of paint sags on them.

I mounted a light controller. It’s similar to an SPOD you would use on a jeep but doesn’t have the overhead switches as my keypad the uppfinner switch is already. Simple install makes wiring things a little cleaner. I’m generally not a huge fan of rough country but this particular piece seems to be good quality.

I installed floor mat clips because my rear floor mats with the doors off were rising up and flying on the highway. I put a quick YouTube together on how I did it but it’s pretty simple you can figure it out. I don’t like putting holes or doing things to the Bronco that can’t be quickly reversed so there’s no holes or anything with this method. It’s a MatLoc clip, a hair tie, and a zip tie - that’s all you need

I wanted to do something special for Jill. Get something to remember why we got the Bronco and how far she has come from what was the hardest fight she ever had.

I’ve heard of a good amount of issues with the rivnuts being garbage. One of mine is already starting to pop out and I’ve barely even touched the tailgate table. I plan to replace them with something a bit more substantial soon.

Yeah, rivnuts where junk.

Found a way to organize my socket set and wrenches. Left the straps at 6 feet in case I’m ever in a pinch and need some straps.

What does that chingadero plate thingy do that sticks out? The rest I see hooked the 2 hinges together? Everything fit ok?

Looks like he plans to add a Rotopax gas can to it. One of these guys. Looks like a nice custom addition!

For the Rancho hitch a few tips: You just have to remove (8) 15 mm bolts to take it off and re-install the bumper cover:
You do not need to jack the truck, but I recommend a headlight so you can see wtf you are doing while laying underneath. I have 2 and use them all the time.

1. Use small screwdriver to unplug license plate light plug on drivers side behind plastic bumper cover. Insert the screwdriver at the side of the plug and the plug releases.
2. Remove 3 of the 4 bolts behind the cover on each side near the end of the cover. You can see that the 4th bolt holds the plate on BUT NOT the cover.
3. Then on each side, towards the center of the truck and slightly higher is another 15mm bolt. It is kinda fiddley so it needs to come out LAST and go in FIRST so you can wiggle the loose bumper cover to help get it out and re-install in first.
4. The bumper cover then comes off exposing the rear frame cross beam (as seen in the pic)
5. This is a good time to clean it and get mud/debris off of it
6. Put on the hitch. The 2 big bolts go in the center holes the smaller bolts go in the outer holes that look more like slots.
7. You need 19 and 22mm wrenches for these, they have lock nuts do not use locktite.
8. Once the hitch goes on, put the cover back on the reverse order of taking it off. Put anti-seize on the bolts and/or a drop of oil don't be surprised to see rust on these bolts, mine had a small amount (probably from sitting on Ice Mountain for 3 months, THANKS FORD!)
9. DO NOT GO MAGILLA GORILLA on the bumper cover bolts, they are grabbing brass nutserts that are molded into the plastic you can strip them. Hand tight with a wrench, like you are girl not 220 lb manly man.
