May a noob question, but how are you getting the 360 camera to engage at speed? Looks like youre in normal GOAT mode.

I have a can opener..... 4D Tech (company) offers a "can opener" (Controller Area Network - CAN BUS opener) It allows me to control any speed limited items at any speed.

So I just push the camera button and I have the 360 degree cameras, even at 80mph... Kind of handy. And my passenger can adjust settings that are typically turned off when moving.

Unlocks speed restricted controls and menus on the SYNC 3 and SYNC 4 touchscreen (Address Entry for Navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Music Search, Bluetooth Pairing, Etc.
WILL NOT Unlock other speed restricted functions (spot lights, memory seats, etc)
Access FORWARD camera views (Top Down, Front, Front Wide, NOT Tire View), in all forward gears at ANY SPEED!
WILL NOT access REVERSE views and there is NOT another solution for this.
Will not void factory or extended warranties
No cutting, splicing or programming required - just plug in
Complete one-year replacement warranty, US company and support

Now the ONLY thing listed that has changed is the rear camera is now working on mine while moving forward.... The front and side cameras have always worked. The rear (tire) camera started after a Ford update(about a year after installing the can opener) ... All the cameras have been working ever since (about two years).

The reverse views work just like normal from Ford. Put it in reverse and you see the same thing that came from the factory.

It is a lot harder install than "just plug in"... You have to remove the entire dash and the infotainment screen.... It "just plugs in" behind the screen. WHICH IF I HAD BEEN SMART would have been the time to plug into the A2B adapter for my new stereo..... But hey after having the dash off and back on three different times now, I am getting a little faster at it.

Got the MRT Elite Exhaust in the mail today and slapped it on. Sounds great and it has about 750% (exaggerated that a bit) more clearance than that whale of a stock muffler..

Slight rumble on start up, a little more rumble under hard acceleration and zero drone at highway speeds. Exactly what I was looking for and it does not sound like a Honda Civic..

Wired... Aux 2 running through a secondary solenoid. I have routed all my aux switches to a secondary 40 amp solenoid so I could wire anything I wanted and not be limited by the Ford wiring.

I appreciate someone that is on a run in front of me that has chase lights.... often on a run with other people a lot of dust can get kicked up, enough you can not see the vehicle ahead of you. I do not want to run into the back of them... also if there is a sudden turn coming up I can follow their lights. They are also helpful in rain, in the dark and in thick forests. It helps to identify where the vehicle ahead of you is located. AND I do not want the vehicle behind me running into the back of me....

These are a little different than most. dedicated chase lights often flash but they are usually white or amber and are built more like a spot or flood rather than a dedicated strobe. These actually were made for law enforcment.

My son wanted to help yesterday with installing the PPE hot and cold charge pipes along with the PPE intercooler so we knocked it out.

Total install time was about 1 1/2 hours and it's very simple and straightforward.

*Note: The factory open / close shutter is NOT reused on the PPE Intercooler

After the install I took it out for a spin. At normal acceleration and normal turbo boost all is normal. However, when hammering the gas pedal and when under max acceleration and max turbo boost, I was hearing a wind sound that sounded like it was coming from the rear.

I checked for leaks at the pipe connection points with soapy water and found none..

I called PPE this morning and he said that would be normal on the Bronco. He said:

Because the Broncos stock open / close shutter is not reused on their intercooler and that it is now is now wide open.
Due to the increases in flow from not only from the charge pipes but the intercooler as well.

My son used AI (disclaimer - AI used) and found this. It does kind of make sense to me.

Thoughts?

I assume this is sound could be increased even more because of my Ford Performance tune but don't know for sure. Not my expertise at all..

If that increased sound profile, that only happens on very hard acceleration / max turbo boost, is an issue for you then avoid this kit. I am fine with it as under normal driving conditions, normal acceleration, normal turbo boost, it is not noticeable..

They’re a brilliant idea and I’m of the same opinion. @BroncOitis had a light setup on his Bronco and I appreciated it following him on a dusty trail in Moab. Visibility can be compromised suddenly on some trails, and you can’t be too safe!
