Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Cool! I need to do that. Iā€™ve got two to add to my Badlands grille. Do yourself a favor and apply some PPF to that puppy. It will extend the life of its finish. Ask me how I know. šŸ¤Ŗ
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. Itā€™s fun.

@BuckYeah I hope you mean the badge and not the Badlands grill or paintšŸ˜³ I saw that whole thread on the finish coming off some of the badges and thought about hitting it with a clear coat or film but kinda curious to see how long it takes to fade (if itā€™s still an issue). Sort of a badgešŸ˜… of honor.

Oh yeah, I was referencing the badge itself. Theyā€™ve been notoriously fragile. I wouldnā€™t worry about your grille or the finish on your hood as much. Theyā€™ll undoubtedly outlast your badge. It helps if your vehicle isnā€™t exposed to harsh chemicals or severe weather over time.

Iā€™m thinking of installing my grille badges on my dash and calling them ā€œDash Badges.ā€ šŸ¤“

Didnā€™t get to work on the Bronco. I had to repair my sons car. Hasnā€™t even had its first oil change yet we had to replace his last car because a deer set off his airbags. He called me the other night heading back to campus from work so he only thing he said was I hit another F-ing deer. Never hear my kid cuss, I know he was upset. New headlight and pulled the fender forward so he can open his door. Knocked out a few dents and added some Raptor tape to cover the crack. Good as new-ish until we can get it properly fixed.
Edit: added pictures of his previous car that a dear totaled that car we only had for 5 months.

Good call! I love the simplicity of these. They definitely appear to improve visibility. Did you opt for the blue ones or gray ones?

I got the gray ones.

Installed DV8 license plate relocate bracket. Getting set up for winch plate install.
BTW.. Dealer installed license plate bracket was screwed directly into my grill work. Any suggestions? Thinking of drilling out for plastic push lock retaining clips as opposed to trying to repair.

Take a look at Bumperplugs.com. They have pre-painted plugs just to solve your problem. I've used them before and they looked much better than just a black plug.

So a few months ago I found a good FB marketplace deal on the Ford (Tuffy's) storage drawer.
But I disliked how it didn't maximize my storage space.
I also wanted a secure way to keep my offroad jack in the Bronco for rally races.
So I copied someone I found on Youtube ( ) & made this setup...
Snapchat-459383736.jpg
The jack is sitting on these mounts from 911 motorsports

https://www.911motorsports.net/Jack...JK2MsahEGFlHYzR6bSG8_6tHNv09f4P5Looq8ZhLRGpmx

Except I made them myself with a few measurements from the jack & some careful copying (having access to a multi-million dollar fab shop is a nice perk).
Then I cut a pc of 1/2" plywood (3/4" might be better, I had 1/2" laying around) & put a ton of D-rings on it.
I used like 20 small 1" D-rings for securing small stuff with bungee cords.
I also reused the 4 OEM D-rings for things that actually need ratchet strapped.
Some headliner felt & spray contact glue gave it a pretty nice OEM feel.
Also, if you're gonna do anything with that Tuffy's drawer, punch out the crappy nut-certs that are on it & just use a regular nut.

Next project will be a battery shelf for the 12V battery I ordered to power my Starlink mini.
I'm thinking of using the mounting points of the softop & removing that small trim panel so I can just sit it right there on the side to have easy access to the OEM 12v plug as well.

Gotta be ready to go for my next Rally event the first weekend of May!

@raqball I love your commitment šŸ˜‚. Also, call me crazy but I kinda dig the worn out finish.

Don't mind all the dead bugs.. I just got back from a road trip where I did some off-roading and camping.. There's got to be a few thousand dead bugs on my Bronco.. šŸ˜†

Need to spray it down and get some of them off.. But I might not as I have another trip planned in a few weeks..

After adding the Hidden Winch I dropped about 3/4 inch in front, and started rubbing at full lock... SO... I finally removed the big 3 inch thick plastic block in the back of the wheel well and did a little trimming to match what I had already done on the front bumper....I then "pinned" my fender liner back to the back of the fender well and I gained about 2 inches in total.... Now I have NO rubbing even under compression. Have not tested under full compression but it is promising... PXL_20250415_001222545.jpgImage Caption PXL_20250415_001231078.MP.jpg

Slapped the Suma Performance mirrors on the Bronco.. Took all of 5 minutes..

Just curious, what makes these "performance" ? Are they compatible with the BLISS indicators and heated mirrors?
