Installed DV8 license plate relocate bracket. Getting set up for winch plate install.
BTW.. Dealer installed license plate bracket was screwed directly into my grill work. Any suggestions? Thinking of drilling out for plastic push lock retaining clips as opposed to trying to repair.

I did exactly what you were thinking. Just found a plastic push lock that fit after cleaning up the holes they drilled.

Seems like a hell of a way to install the bracket, to me at least.

Figure it will be behind the winch anyway.

Took the new Bronco on its inaugural camping trip with the (also new) camper. Great site at Pedernales Falls State Park, Texas. Awesome central Texas park we somehow have never been to before!

Driving back to CA from Texas where we got this amazing hard top!

It is a HUGE improvement from the original soft top! I love it! Can’t wait to get it home from the long drive.

And the Armadillo Designs dudes are SO amazing! Totally worth the wait.

Wheels/tires/lift next up! Wanted it to be “not so new” before adding to it. (I will def be able to find my Bronco in a parking lot…lol)

That is looking pretty sweet... got my head inside one of those armadillo tops last weekend... Really impressive with a lot more head room. And gosh darn they are solid... then again they are aluminum and not resin impregnated cardboard.

Installed the RSE slider/steps. Really happy with this upgrade. Installation took me several hours but over 2 days due to my upper mobility issues with my neck and back. Only flaw i had was in the alignment of the holes in the pinch seam but a step bit took care of that.




Getting i and out with stock, worn out knees is much easier and safer now.

We broke off from the group to have a snow day we don’t get to see that very often. In the La Sal mountains. So we had to play a little and we let the dogs play for a few minutes too.

Took it up the hills and got into more snow than the rigs could handle. I was too busy dragging my winch line to take pics of the recoveries. I think I pulled my Bronco 3 times and pulled out the Jeep on 40s once.
The group photos is just before we got into the deep stuff, at the top of Upper 311 at Evans Creek ORV Park.
The pic of me following the Jeeps down the hill is after the deep stuff.

The log pic. . . I got jammed in there, managed to back up and go to the right of the tree and around the lower of the two logs.
