What did you do to your Bronco today?

Finally broke down and put the doors and soft-top back on (boo hoo!). They've been off since mid-May, but it's getting too chilly in the morning and evening...

Finished cleaning it. Washed it yesterday afternoon, wiped it down w/ detail spray today. Cleaned windows. Cried a little at the sight of the new Alabama pin stripes. Kinda wishing I had gone with a lighter color Bronco.

Though, if Ford had done a better job with the paint and clear coat, it probably wouldn’t be scratched. Just saying.

My Ford dealer mobile tech came to my house and did the windshield wiper recall in my driveway while I was at work. Otherwise I wasn't even worried about it.

Last weekend my wife volunteered me last minute to drive a kid in the JSU homecoming parade. We offered the Mercedes convertible or the Bronco, her choice. So we had to take the top off real quick...

Had a few hours to kill last night before the VP debate so I installed some Bronco puddle lights. Are they necessary? Absolutely NOT! Are they freaking cool? Absolutely YES!

Today Pokey joined the ranks of cracked tops being replaced under warranty.
Process was actually relatively easy. Before having dealer inspect I got a case number from Ford. Made an appt and went in, about 5 minutes to take pics and I was on my way. They called later that day and said the top has been ordered. A week later the new one arrived and I dropped him off to have the replacement done. Not a bad loaner; except too many doors and not enough switches, lol.
