What did you do to your Bronco today?

Top Roll Bar. What are those holes for and if I'm running without hard top do I need to plug them to keep water out.

My TrailRax rack with Pack Rax is being delivered today, and I'm sure I'll put it on right away. I already removed the OEM rack lol :D

My Bronco and I are sad! I had to put my hardtop back on today. 😢 💩 👎

I would have normally left it off until the end'ish of October but I am moving next week and needed to get it out of my external storage unit.

Going to hit some trails tomorrow for my final Washington State off-roading adventure but that will be with the top on so that makes me and my Bronco sad.

After that, it's packing, cleaning and waiting for the movers to come on the 27th.

On a positive note, my Bronco and I do have a super sweet Taxa TigerMoth Overland waiting for us to arrive at the new destination..

Sadly I'll have to wait to install my rack :( My order is missing the windshield brackets. I've emailed @TrailRax, but it seems they are not open Fri-Sun, so I'll have to connect with them on Monday then wait for more parts to come in the mail lol

I bought vinyl "BRONCO dashboard letters from ESTY and they matched the Badlands orange color perfectly.
The total was $10.36 with tax, and no shipping cost.
I bought them from VDCreative. (I am not affiliated with this Esty shop or it's owners).
They send two sets in case you goof up, I guess.
They have all of the Bronco colors:

Pretty sure I added some new trail pin stripes. Also, hung it up on a rock in a tunnel. Made an aweful sound. But, that’s what all that protection under there is for right?

Steepest hill on the trail was 23*. And 13* steepest side angle. And, at one point, nearly both of those together. 😳

Oh, and we drove thru an old tunnel!

I was curious as to the 2-door v. 4-door production.
This is not a scientific study, but it gives me an idea as to the demand for 2D v 4D.
I got on AutoTrader.com and searched for new 2024 Bronco Badlands from a radius of Atlanta... many dealers populate the site with new vehicles.
This is what I found:

2-Door
100 mi. radius - 10
Nationwide - 894

4-Door
100 mi. radius - 128
Nationwide - 4621

I have not yet searched through the other models yet.

Well production will not give you a direct line to demand. 2 doors all came with restrained hardtops ergo some folks caved and took a 4 door and more importantly non pre-ordered dealer allocations were unpreportianatly leaning towards 4 doors. Additionally the Broncos sitting on lots being reduced are mostly 4 doors by a run away margin. Lastly Raptors and Everglades weren't available in 2 doors so if you wanted those you didn't get an option.

Condolences my friend.

Took our Bronco to dealership for couple repairs today. Said these could take a while..
Changing oil, I noticed an oil leak from the steering rack. Looked like simply leaking gasket on the electric motor's casing. Probably not an easy repair though..

Also, the tranny's got a pretty significant engine surge while in 4-low downshifting to 1st gear. It'll surge in both manual & auto. Seemed to make the service advisor's day when I gave him Ford's TSB 23-2352 reference on this problem.

So, our wheeling's grounded for at least couple weeks - So, have a mtn hike planned tomorrow morning.

My Ford dealer mobile tech came to my house and did the windshield wiper recall in my driveway while I was at work. Otherwise I wasn't even worried about it.

Last weekend my wife volunteered me last minute to drive a kid in the JSU homecoming parade. We offered the Mercedes convertible or the Bronco, her choice. So we had to take the top off real quick...

I moved my pillar lights down to my winch plate. I think I like them better there. I’m gonna get some smaller floods to put back up on the pillar mounts.
