Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Diabolical Slipstream. 3 hour install. Now I can remove my top completely and have my things secured in the cargo area. With the soundbar, I’m not able to fold it back completely But can still remove it as a single piece with the sliders and quyck release pins. Hats off to Alan the owner. Great customer service. I emailed him before I bought it to inquire about availability. He said he only had a few and to order it ASAP. Glad I did because 2 days after I received it, the price went up by $200.
This is a solid product.

https://www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-bronco-xd1-aluminum-hard-top-roof-rack-fb15155.html

Here's the link if you do decide on this rack. And yes the deflector is nice. I really didn't want a rack that that left the windshield accessorie attachment uncapped and visible leaving the insect antenna look when the rack was attached.

Thank you! I am of the same mind about leaving things uncapped and open. Hoping to find something that fits the bill.

How sturdy is this from a security standpoint? And can this be opened or other wise accessed if the tailgate is closed. I have the Ford rear enclosure and really like that it is like a true secure trunk and that it can only be accessed from inside. I do like how this does not reduce space on the sides like the Ford one does.

Sturdy? This is like Fort Knox :} Rear wall and sides are made of Steel and the top is Aluminum. With the tailgate locked, you have no way to access the cargo area. With the quick pins and sliders the top comes off fast and easy. If you have long items you can open the panel for it to fit. It's pricey for sure, from a small business, but made in the USA.

I first saw these at Bronco Safari in 2023. They are an excellent product. With the door closed you’re not gonna get into it without a Herculean effort. And the access hatch is great.

Thank you. Yours is perfect, but I'm guessing you have a 4 door? The 2 door option on the website still has side walls eating into storage space just as the Ford one does. I will keep an eye out incase they update or restock something they don't currently have.

Living at 6667' I got to test all of the HVAC functions. Heat on this morning at 28 outside and now it's 77. Which is too dang hot! Happy to report that the A/C works as advertised! 😁

Not today, but the other day I finally got my headlights installed, sight delete, and plate relocation bracket installed.... only issue now is the lovely holes the dealership put into that plastic lip. For now, I just have the plate screws in so it's not just two holes lol. I hate when dealerships screws the plates right into the plastic 😒

Maybe something like these plugs from one of those big box stores?

After basically 2 and half months of waiting (long story), shes back!

Gotta air down the Kenda’s a pinch (42psi) and need running boards to go with the inevitable rock lights, but definitely glad she’s finished

may I make one recommendation? a rock Jock relocation bracket for the pan hard. Very easy installation and relatively minimal cost. It will significantly improve handling. Right now I would guess under sever braking or hitting bumps at speed the whole Bronco wants to suddenly pull to the right in droop or left in compression. of the rear axle.... Bump steer. The closer you get that track bar to horizontal the less lateral movement will accompany rear axle movement. For me it made a significant difference.

Oh that's a good idea. Would probably look bigger than the screws that are currently in there lol.

The piece is ridiculously expensive to buy from the dealership for what it is. lol struggling to justify replacing it.

Wow long time to wait but love how it looks. Have always loved your Bronco since you got the color I originally wanted, but what you've done has really enhanced the appearance!
