Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Sometimes I get too caught up in the adventure to take pictures. Hung out with Inland NW Bronco Club seeing some Bronco friends I haven't seen in a year. A day of show and cruise and a later dunes visit, Then the wife and I continued up into Eastern British Colombia and took to the mountains to enjoy the wild. I do love adding miles and dirt.

Great event! Looks like you had a fantastic drive home. We had a great time from the show and shine, seeing friends and meeting up with my brother

It's pretty cool that the concert series always seems to coincide with this event.

I reverted back to stock tune in anticipation for my service at the dealer tomorrow. I’m hoping they will update the DDM and PDM modules. Has anyone had it done on a 2021 Badlands?

Enjoyed a nice evening with Arizona Broncos Club. Thanks to Rob and Kari for being so hospitable and informative. DQ was not a bad parking lot to get my sweet tooth on! 20240530_192331.jpg20240530_193221.jpg20240530_192339.jpg20240530_192617.jpg

Drove up to Apex, Co, above Central City with no problem. Big stream flows there.

Also, had some wheeling fun near Mt Evans mastiff up to ‘bout 10,500ft, where some 3ft of snow on the trail turned us ‘round.

Always impressed with these big toys - Snow cats & blowers.

I took advantage of $500 off of Form Lighting's headlights sale now throughthe 3rd. I'm a Diode Dynamics ambassador and saw the Form lights at Diodes open house recently. Both are made in the US and are local to me in St. Charles, MO. The quality is great, and $500 off was a no-brainer. Picked them up Friday and installed today. Took less than 2hrs and that included adding my BN grille badge that I've had for 3 years. I won't bore anybody with the install details, there's a lot of vids out there. Went out to the country tonight to really get a feel for the difference and I was blown away. The running lights are awesome, and the start up sequence is cool. These are waaaaay brighter and much wider spread. When I flipped on my ditch and fogs it was like daylight. But gosh the bugs sure liked them.

Great looking rig!! Looks like a KILLER time was had! Quick question: Does your roof rack set up have the same noise level as the OEM rack? Also, did the light bar and wind defector come with the rack? Thank you!

Joined in on a trail clean up day. Rescued a Jeep. Just about watched it tumble on down the hill with him and his two kids in it.

Thanks! I never had the factory rack so I can't really compare. The wind deflector did come with the rack but the light bar did not, I actually wanted a light bar that had a street legal driving light mode which took some doing but I finally found this one. The light bar has halos that are driving lights and full spot/floods that are for off road. There's also a block out plate to further prevent noise if you were to either not have a light bar or if you have a light bar set forward rather then in the rack. There wasn't really noise with the top on. There was some noise with the front panels off on the freeway but it wasn't too bad roughly the same as without the rack. Additionally I simply zip-tied a pool noodle to block the small gap that air went through and it now has less open air noise then it did with no rack. The pool noodle/zip tie solution is pretty primitive but has held up for more then a year and a half with many long, high speed road trips and through heavy wind and rain storms in addition to off road and dune adventures. If you're interested I can send you the links for the rack or light bar. I was very particular in wanting a rack with "sides" so items could sit safely down in it. It is a RedRock rack which is actually the house brand of Extreme Terrain. They claim the front panels can be removed with it but in reality I had to use a metal grinder to create a little room for the panel removal.

Great information, thank you! I have the OEM rack and would like to keep it, but will have to see about some sort of set up like what you have, keeping noise down while being practical as hell along with a boss looking defector and light rack. KILLER!!

Here's the link if you do decide on this rack. And yes the deflector is nice. I really didn't want a rack that that left the windshield accessorie attachment uncapped and visible leaving the insect antenna look when the rack was attached.
