I agree, Tacoma was not much better 😔. I thought about heading out, but after we both worked all day……well let’s just say I’m not as spontaneous as I used to be

Even in a smaller city like Sioux Falls the Northern lights couldn't be really seen. My daughter went out about 15 miles to get a good view.

Okay, it took way longer than I thought, but we got that RTR grille on yesterday. Hoping to get an install video (w/ greater detail than the one RTR provides) put together soon.

You caught the Northern Lights last night! I love the pix of them with your Bronco. It could be a once-in-a-lifetime photo opp. I'm glad you thought to combine these two beauties. Bravo! 😎

I couldn't see squat from Seattle. I'll have to head out of the city and find a darker place tonight; it's supposed to be clear.

They've been on my bucket list for many years, I still may try in Alaska one day. I hope you got to see them yesterday. I drove out into dark farm lands higher up. It definatly was more visible through my phones camera. It was a challenge getting enough lighting for the Bronco to show up but enough dark for the Northern Lights to be visible. I still didn't get it as good as I wished, but I'm glad I got what I did.

Finally installed the bumper & winch I've had sitting around for 6 weeks.
Bumper is called Carnivore from Stallion4x4 (Quadratec's Bronco brand).
Winch is Badlands Apex 12k from HF
Fog lights are Diode Dynamics from @4x4TruckLEDs.com

I think it looks great & I got the bumper on sale for $450.... Crazy.

I find that most of the company’s putting out product instruction and videos never show how hard it really is. Sometimes they can gloss over the more challenging aspects of the installation.

I did the same with my Bronco first aid kit. Purchased from the parts counter upon Bronco pickup. I ordered a 2nd with points shipped from Ford recently and it had this notice on the box. 🤣

When I take my doors off I hated the look of the yellow and white warnings and tire pressure tire size etc. I had some dark grey (not color matched yet) magnets cut to correct size to place over them.

Yeah, and honestly a lot of it had to do with the BS fasteners Ford uses not working the way I think they should work and, ya know, being plastic BS. But on RTR's part, they didn't necessarily give a good look at different steps in the process in either the video or their printed instructions.

But...it's on now, and looks great.

It's pretty stable and it only goes in "one-way" as seen in my picture. The silver plate goes under the gas snout when you turn the key and pull it out to lock it. Pretty simple mechanics.

Thanks for the responses. Good to hear! The first one I had on my Mustang had a cheap lock core that almost locked me out of putting gas in it. Once I got that sucker off I tossed it and bought a better one. Glad to know this won't create headaches.
