Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Time to feed the addiction! Just installed the Midland radio, low profile antenna (but I also bought the 6DB gain for use in difficult terrain). I elected to not hard wire into the fuse box, but just use the lighter outlet in the console, since I never use that for anything after putting a safe in there. Just drilled a hole, ran the wire and it's done. Running the line for the antenna was a breeze. Set them up in Group mode.

Instead of buying $80-100 bits to mount the mic on the dash with an arm, I spent about $25 on a mic stand mount and a cell phone holder to mount the magnetic mic.

The only thing left to do is wrap the 2" of exposed red wires below the radio in black so they won't be seen at all. SUCH an easy install. And very clean. Everything is right where I need it.

6DB antenna (not pictured)
Midland radio bundle with two handhelds
Micro mobile antenna for riding around town and open country
Antenna cable
Ditch light bracket for mounting antenna
Magnetic mic (DANG this thing is strong!)
Mic stand mount for iPhone (I used half of this to mount the mic and attached to the dash GoPro mount, which I no longer use since I have a full time camera with collision detection)
Cell phone holder 2 pack (I mounted the Magnetic mic to one and I switch it out with the other for my phone when not using the radio)

Looks good! Might have to do my radio set up like that. Still loving that copper color!! Reminds me of the ginger color on older Broncos. I think was ginger? Now I need to find it. Might have to talk with the shop that does all our body work to see if they install wraps. Thanks for the excellent pictures!

The ginger is the interior color of my 75F-250 and that's why I like it so much.

Thank you! I just couldn't remember the name and didn't have time to look it up. Work got kinda crazy today.

Removed the top since we expecting a long streak of sunshine in the PNW. Toplift pro can handle the TrailRax half rack, so it’s still a breeze to remove. Put the BroncoBikini bimini and with the Mabett tonneau cover, there iis no flapping at 70-80 mph. I also added the gas lock. I know it will not prevent gas theft but at leas deter pranksters from putting fluids into my tank.

You can put one on each of your roof panels. 😉 I just put one on the driver's side and kept the other to attach to a backpack or possibly my denim jacket. I'm debating whether or not to turn my jacket into event-specific attire. LOL

After Moab I inspected the underside and found that my cross members had come in contact with The State of Utah.
So I installed the RCI skid plates today.
KIMG0805.JPG

Good call, sir. I did that preventatively before going to Moab and I'm glad I did. As others have said, those 2.7L equipped Bronco cross members take a lot of abuse! Mine "kissed" a shelf but took it well. They're small but tough.

Great spot!
Sadly they were out of the jerkey from the ranch, which is one of my wife's favorites, but I did get some new coffee to try out.

I never realized there were locks for the capless gas spouts. Would you mind sharing a link for the one you got?

You caught the Northern Lights last night! I love the pix of them with your Bronco. It could be a once-in-a-lifetime photo opp. I'm glad you thought to combine these two beauties. Bravo! 😎

I couldn't see squat from Seattle. I'll have to head out of the city and find a darker place tonight; it's supposed to be clear.

I have a soft top. 😥 I've been putting patches on back of back seat.
I did get a Bronco jacket from Etsy, so I may put one on it.
I too was thinking of it becoming an event specific jacket.

When I take my doors off I hated the look of the yellow and white warnings and tire pressure tire size etc. I had some dark grey (not color matched yet) magnets cut to correct size to place over them.

I agree, Tacoma was not much better 😔. I thought about heading out, but after we both worked all day……well let’s just say I’m not as spontaneous as I used to be
